Totally agree which is why I went with all the same modifications/upgrades. Car was reborn!

Which sport cats and headers did you go with? FVD? Soul? Something else? Do the headers require that the engine be dropped or is it a DIY kinda thing? Looking at going the same route myself - all FVD Brombacher ...

Vektor headers, Soul sport cats, BMC air filter and Vektor air oil separator. None required the engine to be dropped. I did all of the work myself. For me, the headers, air filter and AOS were very easy to install. The cats required a bit more patience but also not that complicated.

Sarawnty, it looks like we have about the exact same car and mindset. I originally thought that didn't want any mods, my mind is wondering there still haven't made up my mind, but what you listed out was exactly what I had selected if I were going to dive in.

Plus Numeric shifter & cables, DSC suspension controller, Function First shift ****, 7mm wheel spacers, Blackmill wind deflectors and Coco mats :-)

Beautiful car smgkc!

How so? Please list your upgrades. Was there a before/after dyno?

Thanks for sharing more details.

Not true. FVD will custom tune. (I have a '17 C2 with FVD tune)

Where do you buy FVD in the US. Did anyone use it on a stock 991.2 GTS 4?

Out of curiosity, what does it connect to and how do you access it? I am assuming it's not the OBD-II port?

I pulled the trigger today on the APR 93 stg 1 and what a difference it made! The difference between sport and normal is now pronounced and the power it makes towards the top end of the rev range is addicting. I don’t have a dragy so I can’t post numbers but butt dyno is impressed. Also the start stop feature is now reversed so I won’t have to press that button every time I get in the car any longer. Does anyone know if all tunes require 100 miles or more to “break in” or re calibrate?

Every car is a little different, so it does require a bit of time to tweak the fuel trims and whatnot. In order for the tune to adapt, you do need to go through the whole rev range at different loads so that you drive through all the different operating points. If you cruise on a flat road at constant speed, it'll only tweak that one point. So it won't tweak all the other points until you actually hit them.

Hers is my take on the COBB tune: In this episode of the 991 Build Series I talk about why I chose to ECU tune the car, arguments for and against, how to install the tune yourself, and my honest thoughts. Ultimately, is it worth tuning a naturally aspirated 911? This one is a little long, but stay until the end to hear my honest thoughts.

First time I've read about a tune changing exhaust note! Must be awesome!

Exhaust note is unchanged silly man. You must have misunderstood my definition of what SCREAM is.
Much improved drive ability, .90 G's pushing you back in the seat. and the feel of a low 11 quarter mile.
That's SCREAM to me.
