This T might be a longterm keeper for me. If it works out the way I feel it would, I may sell the 992. Though my wife may miss the back seats for the kids lol
Pete, come stop by and grab my 992 base so you can feature it in your 000 magazine. You can keep it for a few months if you'd like.
BTW, love the 006 mag T meets base article

And glad you dug 006's story on the base & T—it was a lot of fun to put together!

992 GT3 and GT3RS mules has been spotted out on the track.
Perhaps look at a trade-up?

This is would be interesting if the T has this. Can anyone confirm it? This alone would set apart the 991.2 base vs. T
Any thoughts from anyone else with considering waiting for the 992 GT3 and having it as a primary double duty car?

Again, for me it's the centerlocks that make a 3 harder to daily. I'm a screw magnet. In the T I can be operational in 5-10 mins. Even a rear puncture I can deal with, it just involves a double change. Getting stuck with no spare is not cool. If there were a centerlock spacesaver spare it would be a game changer.

Rumors 992 GT3 touring with sofas will have backseat option. This would be the ONLY way to get me out of my T!!!

MT 911 CT guy here.
-SPASM is still with PDK (I believe)
-lightweight glass is always on a T unless optioned out. Some didn't realize that if you check privacy glass...you deleted the RS glass. You can tell if there are defroster lines in the rear glass. If not, you got the RS glass
-You get ePTV and "electronic LSD" with PDK (I believe)
-Unless you are of the "only manual" mentality you will love the car with PDK. I've been in the T since 2018 and follow the "T Army" all the time here in Rennlist and the PDK folks seem to love their T.
-Don't let anyone here tell you what the "right spec" is for your 911 either.
-The PDK is awesome for track work...thinking about getting another P-car for track and I'm absolutely getting PDK, hopefully PDK-S in the GT4 RS
-I love my T...absolutely love it. Maybe I'm weird but I think its one of the best 911s out there. Some will argue that saying its a "parts bin" special. Maybe so...I like what I like and I think the car is special!
DM me if you want any more info on anything T...I'm sure some other owners will weigh in. Hopefully I wasn't giving you black pearls with the PDK stuff.

AND, to make matters even more confusing. I was told the base 992 does indeed come with a eDiff, which subsequently was confirmed on the window sticker.

^^^^^
So if this is true, and the T does not have an LSD. Then I may be better off tracking my 992.

I will look for it but it was confirmed that the PDK version has an eLSD and the manual gets a mechanical LSD. There should not be any guessing anymore.....

that's true for certain models, like .2 GT3's. It was my understanding that was not confirmed for the T. In fact to the contrary.

Yes, we not questioning the manual car has a mechanical LSD. Nor saying any PDK car has a mechanical dif. They don't. They have E difs, including GT3's. I use the .2 example as a GT3 with both difs offered. That's not the case on the T. It's likely that the PDK T is driving one wheel as the base 991.2 is.
