APR rates the stock GTS at 433whp on their dyno. Cobb/World MS rate it at 423.
APR rates their stage1w/IC- 91 at 533whp.
Using a +2.3% APR correction, I now claim a 91octane Cobb pro-tune of "APR"...... 554whp.
I win the 91 dyno race!

Tyler at APR says "Actually based on our results and data collection for all the 991.2 generation Porsche and 718 we have tested thus far, the exhaust has proven to be little to no restriction at all compared to the stock setup. It has very little pressure before the catalyst and even when testing a straight pipe little advantage has been found. Even with the slightly decreased Pre-catalyst pressure, there were no Pre-turbine pressure benefits at the power level the car is already at. It made the turbo nor the engine any more efficient and made maybe 1-2 hp difference than stock".
And "I’ll put our standard tune up against a custom one any day of the week."
I'm actually really interested in their tune, but there is no data out there yet, other than their dyno and 0-60's (no 991.2 TTS forum reports either). Not ditching my Cobb yet!

What do they really mean when they say they’ll put their standard tune against a custom tune? Nice sales pitch, I want that too. I’m not speaking negative about their product but it’s a really strong statement. Where’s the real substance in that statement?

As far as Cobb vs. Apr. Apr seems to have more control over the Ecu, I.e. rev matching control, etc. But their tunes are for a specific part combination and specific torque curve, throttle mapping, etc. And you cannot currently change tunes whenever you want. Though Apr is working on an at-home flashing solution.
So if you have random bolt-ons and want a driveability tuned to your specific preferences, Cobb pro-tune is the solution. If you have the same mix of parts as Apr tuned for and you like their driveability calibration, go with Apr.
Either way, the options are awesome. Generically, I think Cobb is more for diy guys who like to tinker and datalog, Apr is set and forget.

How about this Khiem? Before I return my car to the dealer on the 20th, I'l take it to Torrance's favorite mustang dyno and see what the OTS APR tune does on ethanol only since that is what is currently in the tank.

Please do @Cheshi143-really want to see more independent dynos on different platforms with different mods. I am impressed by APRs offering-especially their e85 calibration. I dyno’d my Cobb pro tuned carerra t this week and am happy with the results. I will post them this week when I have the wineap files so I want to see how the APR tune stacks up.

Your car is all-stock hardware GTS? I'd guesstimate about 570whp on the World Motorsport dyno. It would be good to see!

APR has the stock base at 360whp, World had it at 368. Don't think there is much to learn from another dyno.
Cheshi143, swing by Tustin and you can borrow my Dragy before you turn the car in!

I believe Cheshi143 is a base with the E85 tune - which APR dynoed at 474whp. Their 93 tune comes in at 446, so +28 for the E85.

Irvine/Tustin is my old running ground. Will actually be staying the week in Irvine. Plenty of flat streets there to grab numbers.
We should do some dragy pulls on the same street/same day to see how your COBB fares against the APR.

Was going to wait until I got my original runs to do an overlay but here at the latest runs from last week. 466whp-no torque reading as we could not get to the coils on the dyno. Mods:
Soul Cat Bypass, Tial inlets, BMC filter, Cobb protune by @BGB Motorsports
Previous run last year was 452whp all stock with just the stage 1 (v102) OTS flash.
