DSC is quite deceiving. I installed it a while ago but didn't drive it again until recently. I have an Acura daily driver, and when I got back in the 911 I didn't realize a difference in ride at all, which was great. It absorbs all the little things incredibly well now. With the PASM button on it puts the the Sport mode to the same feel as the stock Normal mode but holy cow, the handling now is mind blowingly great. The capabilities of this car far exceed my comfort level now. I went into a very tight turn really hard the other night to see how it reacted and I was shocked... it was begging for more speed through that apex and the body roll was almost nonexistent. Kudos to DSC. How is it possible to create a smoother ride and better handling at the same time? lol ::mind blown::
Purchased a v3 controller for my 991.2 from a local rennlist member who had sold his GTS and installed it over the weekend...absolutely blown away with how the car feels.
@Tom@TPC Racing happy to pay for any tuning support obviously - is there a way to tell what file is currently on the controller? I do have the cable. Thanks!

I just traded my 911 on Friday, so I took out the DSC module (for sale here) from my 2017 911 and replaced it with the OEM module. I have been driving with the DSC module since Aug 2022 - so a good 7-8 months, and I was so used to it, to how smooth the car rides, that I had forgotten the harsher ride of the OEM Module until I drove it with the OEM module for the trade-in. Wow. This was definitely the best mod I ever had in the 911
Simple question, but i am selling my car this week and will be re-installing the OEM Controller.
Do i need to pull the battery, or can i just unplug the DSC Tuner and plug the Stock back in?

It's usually always wise to disconnect the battery ground, but having said that, in the interest of speed I have swapped DSC/PASM modules multiple times without disconnecting the battery and never had issues or CEL . I usually only wait for the electrical systems to shutdown (after that 5-7 minutes once you open the door/hood).
Eagerly awaiting A DSC V3 I just purchased from a Rennlister. I installed the DSC software on my computer to have a look and get familiar with the features. When selecting the vehicle type, there are two choices for the 991. Porsche 9x1, and Porsche 9x1 w/LNC. What's LNC?

LNC stands for Launch Control. It's the same configuration but with that it will open a box to configure settings in acceleration.
