OH, WOW....
Installed last night and just went out for quick drive. It's a magic!
Stock sport was too harsh for street (even though my neighborhood has very nice smooth roads) but sport in GT3 Tour is just perfect. Still very comfortable but everything is much tighter.
And turning is like magic. Seems like my 911 is glued on the street.
Tom, thank your helping me out downloading and installing. I'm just shocked how much this unit changes the car.
I think this should be the first mod, not the tunes.

V3 difference
Just posting this to confirm that V3 controllers have a smaller hole at top right.

I have a 991.2 4GTS. If I received my DSC V3 controller around Jan/Feb this year, does it have the GT3 touring pre-programmed? I purchased through an authorized dealer (JRPonline) in Canada. They said I would need to re-program the V3 controller myself in order to have the GT3T setting.
And if I wanted to download the calibration file to have the GT3T setting on my 4GTS, which file should I download? "Tractive calibration file for 981/991"? Or "991 GT3/RS “TOUR” For V3 only"?

Im interested but have afew questions...
First, unlike most here i actually dont think the OEM sport setting is too harsh. Could use some cleaning up in the corners and rebounding, but the last thing i want to do is make the car softer in any way (outside of maybe the comfort setting).
Currently I have Bilstein B16s, Elephant mounts, bumpsteer kit, adjustable sway bar end links and a pretty aggressive alignment.
Given the above, would DSC recommend and be able to make me a custom file to fit my needs?

I would suggest starting with the ever so popular Touring file, if you find it too soft, go into the shock calibration table and reduce the shock mA (making damper stiffer) at the soft side (0%) a bit at a time until you find a base setting you like and make the range linear. There are two tables, one for regular mode, and one for sport mode.
Maybe 1200-1000mA minimum....
You likely won’t have to mess with anything else.
I bet you will love it.

Don’t confuse personal comfort feel with handling.
The stock suspension I normal street, sport track. As Sport on the street would skip and step sideways on bumps when driving hard. If you drive miss daisy its fine.
After adding DSC to stock suspension, i drove everywhere in Sport. Not because it was softer, but because it had superior handling and knew how to deal with bumps.
Then I went full tractive, with. Much stiffer springs. 75/150 as opposed to sport pasm 33/108. I now was normal on street and sport on track, as track was a little bumpy on street.
Now i wanted more at track, so run 100/150 springs, with Tom’s new track map. Its so good i run sport everywhere.
However i don’t like the normal map. It seems to take too long for the bump event. He did send me a revised map, but I’m to scared to load it. I don’t want to mess with the track map which is just so good in every situation eccept the harshest of bumpy roads. Which we have a few around here.
If you don’t have Sport Chrono or Sport plus, your spring rate is do soft, its not doing to matter.
DSC allows better handling without sacrificing comfort and drivability. Its witch craft I tell you.

Can't you just save the map you have now, load the new map, and then revert back to the saved map it you don't like the new one?

Is anyone running the GT3 Touring DSC configuration on a 991.1 Turbo?
Feedback?
People rave about this config file, but I don't know if it's appropriate on the Turbo platform (vs. the DSC Turbo configuration).

The track map is that good. I do like the fact I’m driving the car in full track attack mode on the street, and its quite reasonable considering.
We you get a sudden surge of blood, you just go with it. There is no, Oh I need to stiffen up this or that.
