We're planning another on Feb 26th, and so far have 5 confirmed! This time, I'm also planning on booking local car photographer @raccoon_with_camera on Instagram to take shots at the start, end and during the drive. Check him out on Instagram... If you ever consider heading South and meeting any So Cal T's halfway, I'm in. Maybe Paso Robles? Make a weekend of it.

I was thinking the same. Paso, Santa Barbara, or SLO would be my suggestions for spots to split the drive to the bay region. Good food and drinks at all of them, and I would also suggest coordinating more than a few of weeks in advance.

Also, the SoCal folks could meet up and cruise out CA2 or something some time, or whatever. Lots of good routes in the area.

Yup, I'm up in Santa Ynez every 3-4 months tasting grape juice. Would be nice to get the T Army together.

It's not that far south but how many of you guys are going to Rennsport Reunion in Monterey this year? A few of us will be heading down for that...

Likely not, as I'm considering Monterey Car week (Aug.) this year. I think to go back up in late Sep/early Oct. for Rennsport Reunion is a stretch for me. Perhaps I'll see a few of you at the Works Reunion.

Things are quiet here in T-land. …As the new kid-T on the block gets the attention. We should plan a 10 year reunion in 2028, and 20 year in 2038 for us ‘Gen-2T’ owners. (Not sure I’ll make it to 2048.) Monterey 2028?

Sun’s appeared for the first time in a while here in the PNW. May fire up the T this weekend and charge the batteries. Track days are mapped out for the summer. It’s going to be a great year.

Default Rear Seats with LWBS?

Has anyone tried installing rear seats or rear seatbelts with LWBS? My kids are 8 and 6 and they love the Porsche. eBay has a handful of rear seats and I can source the rest of the parts there or with Suncoast. I removed the hard carpet and didn’t find any attachment points for the any seatbelt hardware. TIA

Figured after 4-5 years of age it's due for a new air cleaner- just ordered one and can't wait to spend 3 or more hours just getting to it! Remember the old days when it would take 5 minutes to change air filters!! Did it on my departed 991.1 turbo S and really not looking forward to the process again!
Just bled the clutch on my 981 spyder today and it would help to be a 20 year old contortionist to get to the bleed nipple! They sure don't want us doing our own maintenance anymore do they?????

(just got my new 000 as well- can't wait to get thru it!)

I just bought a 991.2 T. Should I get APR Stage 1 (28% hp gain), Cobb Stage 1 (18% hp gain), or Softronic (31% hp gain)? Is one of them generally accepted as better or is it personal preference?

I plan to install a tune and a Sharkwerks exhaust.

I’ve done the research. It’d damn hard to tell if it’s really doable. One limiting factor is that all LWBS cars (Carrera and GT) don’t have the detent in the inner wheel well that holds the rear backrest seats in the vertical position. That’s likely a non-issue. LWBS Carreras supposedly have the same rear floor pan as non-LWBS ones. That said, I’ve heard the same about the inner rockers, and the part numbers between LWBS and non-LWBS Carreras is the same, but my LWBS car does not have the regular seat belt bolt boss. I’ve looked multiple times, and under every rubber plug. If you search on my post history you’ll see some convos on the rear seat subject and the challenge of fitting a harness bar that uses the non-LWBS seat belt holes.
