I have the AP Racing Road (380mm) setup... with the DS2500 pads.

But my Cup 2 tires just showed up, and I am wondering about ordering DS3.12 or DS1.11 pads.

Thoughts?

The DS2500 is like a high performance street pad/mild track pad. Considering you have the 380mm setup, I'm inclined to think you'll be just fine. Plus, it's cold everywhere right now which will help manage brake temps. Always make sure your brake fluid is in good shape.

Agreed. Based on what Essex told me, the DS2500 should be perfect for street with light track duty. I would imagine you'll be fine

Yes, when I got the BBK from Essex, we (in conversations with Jeff at Essex) thought the Road kit and DS2500 would be 'plenty'... but Jeff was like "will you be upgrading power, aero or tires?"...

...so now that I am going with the sticker tires, I was just wondering...

Probably be fine.

The beauty of big brakes is that they run much cooler, so you can use a less aggressive pad. The 380mn kit is a big jump up in size compared to stock.

Default What’s the going rate for a low mileage 2018 Carrera T?

I’ve been looking for a 2018 Carrera T manual transmission and have seen them hovering around $95-99k with some PDK versions going for $107-129k. These are mostly dealers selling them so I get that there is a premium. But do those numbers sound right?

When you say “some”, maybe that means you saw “a” PDK example priced as such with the seller following the “There’s an *** for ever seat” maxim, but I would say the manual range seems reasonable (even low for highly-optioned cars with buckets, PCCB, etc), while the PDK range seems way high. Generally the manual cars seem to command a premium, not the other way around. Build stats had PDK cars outnumbering manuals by more than 2:1.

I would agree the numbers are reversed with MT cars being more in demand. The reason there are so many PDK’s are the dealers did not know what the T’s were and generally are scared of MT because they can sit depending on which car hence they ordered the “safe” PDK when they got an allocation
