These are so clean.
I'm on the cusp of ordering new summer wheels and I'm torn between these and the monoblock VS10 from Litespeed racing. https://www.litespeedracing.com/vs10. The two are basically the same general 5-split-spoke design, but the Forgeline have softer lines and look slightly less aggressive, which is probably preferred on a Carrera T. On the other hand, the Litespeed come in forged magnesium alloy for $7,900, and should be lighter by a couple pounds each, with still enough rigidity for the track.
I will say you're making a good case for the Forgelines at $6,000.
BTW, feedback, pros/cons, and judgement welcome from anyone with an opinion on the VS10 vs GS1R.

Those Forgelines are excellent. Beautiful. Jealous.
I am strongly considering these OZs for $2200 for a set of track wheels. 22lbs front, 23lbs rear. I feel like the weight to cost ratio is great. any feedback?

If anyone like the color ‘titanium’ and wants to save 7 weeks of waiting and buy this new in box set... let me know on the DM. I may turn around and order another set in Gunmetal.

BA73 - those offsets are not good for a 991.2
BlackOptic try for the 9” front, try 40 offset if you are reordering

OEM fronts are 49, OZ fronts are 50. Thats .03".
OEM rears are 76, OZ rears are 65. Thats .4".
so 1mm front and 10mm rear spacers to retain oem offset?
thanks!

OEM rears are 11.5 width, and offsets are measured from the face, so you have another ~6mm or so inset. Check an offset calculator for proper fitment. Here's one. https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/
On the Carrera T, factory offset is about 15mm inside the fender on front and about 5mm inside on the rear, (+/- depending on how aggressive you want to go) so these wheels will be way off unless you add spacers, but if you're ordering new wheels you might as well get the fitment right.
FYI TireRack doesn't distinguish between 991.1 and 991.2 fitment accurately, so you end up with 991.1 offsets unless specified otherwise.

Interestingly, that person also recommended a 11.5x20 70et for the rear, which I feel like the extra 6mm pushes it to the full width of the fender and would be extra snug when lowering it.

Yes, ET and offset are the same.

I already have 10mm front and 5mm rear spacers with the oem wheels, so I can adjust as necessary for aftermarket.
as for the wheels, any hate or love? lot of GT3 folks running this rim in the forums for a track wheel. thanks.

For what it's worth, I paid 98 K for a low mile manual T a couple months ago. I found a couple for less but they didn't have the spec I wanted. I also saw a few for more , also with spec I didn't want. I got the car I did want about 3 days after it went on the market.

A retailer recommended to me a 9x20 with 45et for the front, but I was thinking 40et as well. Would this be too wide to lower the car later?
Interestingly, that person also recommended a 11.5x20 70et for the rear, which I feel like the extra 6mm pushes it to the full width of the fender and would be extra snug when lowering it.

for rear I would stay OEM At 76 as they look very flush, if you change I would go max 73.
if you plan to lower, then 76 rear and 45/44 front may be better numbers.
