Is it just me or is anyone else surprised to see that CarGurus has 32 Carrera Ts listed? That’s a bunch!

Yes! And over 2/3s are PDK. An inverse of the numbers produced... Maybe a lot of dealer spec'd cars that are being moved on.

I like the sound of that APR kit. Depending on how next year goes, I may go for the SOUL headers, Sport Cats and that APR stage 3 kit, with the OEM Turbos…. I don’t really have any plan to go overboard with the tune… but am hoping (without overdoing the tune) I can leave the tune at around 450-500 hp. (To not burn out the engine fast… I am shooting for GTS output.)

I currently have this one reserved, found out it has “moderate damage” reported on CARFAX to front/front right/rear. What do you guys think? Great price but obviously there was paint work and potential other damage. The car has LWBS and location of damage maybe even accident on track? Anybody have knowledge of this car by chance? VIN # WP0AA2A94JS106130

I've heard that CarMax doesn't generally allow an independent PPI (pre-purchase inspection) but if they are still doing the 7-day return thing, you could schedule your own PPI and return the car if it doesn't work out. You should definitely use that to negotiate the price. In the current market if the car checks out this could become a steal.

Pretty sure CARMAX doesn’t negotiate. They are doing the 30 days no questions return policy so I would have a chance to inspect the car and give back if the findings are unsatisfactory. The main issue I’m concerned about, assuming repairs are kosher, is the impacted resale value and reduced buyer pool when it comes time to sell. Also if the car was heavily tracked and potentially even crashed on track.

The Carfax hit will live with the car forever, if you plan to keep it for a long time it may be okay but if you plan to sell it in 1-3 years then be ready to take a hit especially when the market corrects and this T becomes bottom of the food chain due to the moderate damage accident.

It’s a great deal-if the spec checks out and it’s to your satisfaction, I would suggest looking into it. You do have 30 days to return no questions asked.

Thanks guys, taking the next step and having it shipped over my way. Plan is to do a PPI during the 30 day window and get a feel for the car. It would be my first 911 so we’ll see if I fall in love! By chance does anyone have access to run the full spec by VIN? CARMAX doesn’t list the optional equip so I’m kind of in the dark. VIN # WP0AA2A94JS106130

Here you go. Make sure if it doesn’t work out, you get a refund and not credit toward another car. Good luck.

Not questioning your reasoning - it’s your choice and money - but if this is your first 911, do you really want your first 911 to have accident history? Again, not being critical, just posing the question.

Anyone know if I can install these 19" Fuchs wheels on my Carrera T with rear axle steering?
