Hello everyone, thought I’d introduce myself. My name is Randy, I live in north ATL suburbs and just bought my T and first Porsche from an ad in the RL Marketplace. Brought it home Friday, and drove it 150 miles today with another local car enthusiast on the twisty back roads of north Georgia. The car is phenomenal, and I look forward to getting involved with this community.

Sorry this photo is from the sale ad, but in my few days of ownership I’ve spent all my time driving it and getting it dirty, not cleaning it up and taking pictures!

Congrats! Nice car. I am just N. of you on Lake Lanier. Drove Suches loop last Friday. Will probably do another N. GA drive in the next few weeks and you are welcome to join. Enjoy your T.

Thank you very much, Wing Commander! Yes, Lava Orange, 7MT, LWBs, leather interior with GT Silver belts/accents, Burmester, no sunroof among other things. Car is 2-1/2 years old with under 3000 miles, so I’ve got 47,000 warranted miles to burn in the next 18 months. I intend to get busy to try to catch up with you . Keep enjoying yours across the pond and stay safe over there!

Congratulations on a great Carrera T.

. You must have purchased this from Glenn. I spoke with Glenn a few times before car went to market, as I have a friend who wants a T. She should have bought, but nevertheless you scored!
Unicorn is a term so over-used these days, but looks like you found a Lava Orange Unicorn!

Cheers

You are correct. Made a 550 mile circle tour in my 2019 Miata to see the T in Charlotte and a second car in Asheville a few weekends ago, then a one-way flight to CLT last Friday to bring it home to metro ATL. There aren’t many like it, but just about anyone with a T can say that. Very impressed so far.

Thanks for the good wishes and enjoy your T and other P cars...what a great garage!

Thanks! Voting already done. Many days to do so before Election Day, which was great, as at first the lines were quite long. I’m expecting tomorrow will be more of the same.

ngamountains; Congrats on scoring a beautiful and rare T. Your journey reminds me of the S. FL tour that I did in early September to pick up my T. 2 cars, both private party, both a great spec, within 10 miles of each other in the MIami area. But the one I brought home was "the one" for me. All the T goodies, full leather, no SR, RAS, 18 way sport seats, CPO, and no damage. More miles than yours, but still a sweet ride.

Had the good fortune of initiating my ownership by joining the Smokies GT group (special dispensation to celebrate my birthday with twin brother Frank and his RY T) on their fall meet in Robbinsville on the first weekend in October. After that, I'm fully bonded. Enjoy the ride, she is a beauty!!

Thanks, Steve. Wow, you did well to have two to choose from within 10 miles of each other, with fewer than 1000 built for the U.S. market, and both offered by owners who could tell you about their cars. Glad to hear you found the one that was just right for you. I’m sure the Smokies event was great, and the Robbinsville area is just surrounded with beautiful scenery and fantastic roads, so that was a great initiation. Keep driving and enjoying your T!

Randy

Congratulations from another Miata (NA) and T combo owner. Sounds like you had a fun and rewarding adventure finding her! Our similarly specced '19 T joined the family last summer and love it more and more everyday. Its a special car.

Well, that makes 3 of us (4 if you include brother Frank with his RY T and Black NC PRHT). My Carrera White Metallic T shares space with 2 Miatas! A 92 Sunburst Yellow NA and a 2016 Jet Black Mica ND GTS (GT with OEM LSD and Koni shocks). Hence the GTS moniker.

Here’s my ND2. This is my third Miata, after a NC1 and a NC2. They are great cars for what they are, and my ND2 is the best of the bunch, just insanely good for the $20K I spent. I’m keeping it for top-down duties, as it’s a great way to enjoy the mountains of north Georgia, western NC and eastern TN.

Thanks for sharing and nice to see more members of the club. Those are some good looking Miatas and the Sunburst looks to be in amazing shape. Agree, they are a lot of fun and tremendous value.

Not to turn this into an other car thread, but I'll share our T with some of her sisters.

The background needs a zoom upgrade. Unfortunately, we have completely run out of space and have had to resign myself to storing some of our cars in storage units temporarily. We are a still a few years away from moving into our "retirement home" on some acreage in the Texas hill country. A car barn has been approved by my better half

Congrats on your beautiful 911T! The car looks amazing in lava orange and you are quite lucky to find such a great spec! I found mine earlier this year with 3,500 miles. I was after MB or lava but ended up with white as it had all I wanted other than color. I solved my color issue with 911R stripes in blue now I am super happy with it and can’t say enough great things about this car. Please enjoy in great health and stay safe! I plan to drive from Fort Lauderdale to see my dad in Asheville, NC before long. Will reach out to the group here to get advice on roads to hit and maybe meet some T owners along the way. Be well!
