I answered you in the BGB thread, I highly recommend going with 9” wide in front with 40 offset. Give you most flexibility on tire width.

for rear, I recommend stying with OEM width and offset.

also, highly recommend working with BGB as they have a great team over there and they are very helpful. Ask fo discount on the Forgelines.

Size: Carrera / Carrera S / Carrera T
Front - 8.5 x 20 ET 49 - 245/35 ZR 20
Rear - 11.5 x 20 ET 76 - 305/30 ZR 20

Most of the wheel discussion around our T's has been the winter set. It's been frustrating to find a match of width and offsets on tire rack. The front sets seem to come close in offsets... But there are a lot of rear offsets in the 60-62 range. Not 76.

I think I'd prefer forged, one piece, (painted titanium, of course)... 5 lug, ...fewer (straight) spokes... and something tough enough for the track... but light (or I may as well go for OEM)... with a center diameter to accept a Porsche center cap. Too much to ask for?

And so I am looking at Forgeline (GS1), HRE (P104SC)..... rather than spin up another wheel thread, I'll go back through this one. But any ideas welcome!
i recommend some 22 inch forgiatos... they're heavy but they're stylin'.

@BlackOptic Essentially, yes you are asking for too much as far as "off the shelf". I'm looking at this as well given I'm a bit of weight saving nut. It appears that our only options are ordering custom wheels from HRE, Forgeline, Finnspeed, etc. Everything that already exists doesn't come close to OEM especially in the rear (as you noted yourself).

I have a theory on this. It would appear that most off the shelf wheels (even the nicer stuff like BBS FI-R's, and OZ) were initially cut to 991.1 specs. Then when the 991.2 came out and they noticed the rear off-set increased by another 6 mm, the wheel manufacturers said "fuggit, no more wheel runs". Again, just a theory, but when you look at the off-sets of everything listed for the 991.2, the rear off-set would probably be o.k. on a 991.1, but it's a stretch on a 991.2.

Actually, I am OK with the Custom route... It looks like I got there pretty quick in my mind.

Since you are looking for track wheels which can also be used daily I will recommend;
Front - 9.0 x 20 ET 40 to fit 245, 255 or 265 tires.
Rear - 11.5 x 20 ET 76 to fit 305 or 315

there is plenty of room in front and going a little wider help understeer. A 255/35 paired with 305 works well or 265/35 with 315 in rear for similar rolling diameter.

Don’t need to change offset in rear as they are good fit. . In picture are 19” diameter, 265 front w 305 rear. New set have 315 rear and looks better.
note, you can still fit 245 on 9”, the GTS is equipped with 9” front and 12” rear but run same tire size as the T. But 9” front give you more flexibility

good luck with sale. That car is beautiful and I would have been interested if I didn’t already buy one 6 weeks ago.

I love how the Spider wheels look on the T. It just gives it that extra tweak. GLWS!

I want to do it, but not sure when. The offer is until the end of the year. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to this month.
