You are good to go. Anomaly Failure.

SO, This happened yesterday!! lol

Been wanting another car for a while since selling the Ferrari... Had to be a manual and I really wanted an open top car since I loved the Targa off in the 308 so much. A good driving friend of mine has one and I've always been intrigued by them. TOTALLY not what most would expect me to drive but they are a blast from what I know from my 375+ miles trip back home last night. The manual shifter / gearbox is GLORIOUS in this thing!! They are known for this.

Anyway, introducing the 2005 Honda S2000 (THE SWOLE2000) as I've name it.

One owner (except the guy who bought it from the deceased owners family to just sell it for profit) with 43K original miles. All Stock. Just had a majority service with All fluids changed and plugs (oil / filter, brake fluid, trans fluid, diff. fluid, filters, etc.). All three keys / fobs. Manuals. Orig. spare never used. Paint is really good shape, along with interior.

Dude! I am a die hard Honda guy, love the new ride! They take well to Procharger/Vortech updates...

Mine, for reference, cuts fuel at 9500rpm...

I would love to supercharge this little car. That would be about perfect to give it enough extra torque and power to even be more fun. However, these are becoming more rare to find in stock form so I would be risking the value by modifying it. I will drive it stock for a while at least and if I end up loving it enough to commit to keeping it then I will look into that supercharge option.

you are definitely sitting on a gold mine with that car.

Yep, I am the original owner, 1 of 80 in Canada, and most of the 97s are dead, gone, or stolen. This one now lives in a temperature controlled space and does not get driven. It is the second rarest car I own next to the 991.2 of which there were 61 in Canada for 2018.

I hear you on modding it - Toda cams, a bigger TB and headers will bring you over 300hp and is easily reversed.

Why don't you drive it - even a little?

When the values started to rise, it became pretty obvious, pretty quick, that it was more valuable being parked, than having more miles added.

There is a local guy who has been trying to buy it from me.

Everytime another ridiculous price pops up in the news, I hear from him, with an appropriate raise to his previous offer.

Even then, I'm not to inclined to sell. This car was the first car I bought coming out of school; it was the car a l learnt how to take tuning a car to the next level with, it is the car that did the Kessel Run in 11 hours and 42 minutes, it's a car I have a deep bond to, not just because of all the fancy JDM Honda racing parts on it, but because I fell in love with it, and it taught me how to properly research, question and refine my thought processes when tuning.

I love the Porchi, they are my projects for the foreseeable future.

But my heart lies with the R, it gave me so much, and all it wanted, was money for it....

Dave-
Nice buy! I've always liked the S2000's, even though I've never driven one. I remember some years ago that an S2000 pulled up to me on the freeway and wanted a piece of me while I was in my 930 (modded). I won, but I was impressed by that little car. Very nice purchase. Looks like you got a very clean one!
