Look great though fitment issues aside always teething issues with new products. I'm going to PPF ours first. Will put pics up

Look at your last picture. Even though you ground the high points off the top/bottom of the back and got those areas to fit flush, the center contour is too high and leaves a gap. I have the same problem with mine. I’m don’t think grinding will fix that. The contour is too high.

I'm part of the first 5 but haven't received mine yet as I'm still waiting on some other stuff I ordered to be produced. I believe mine should ship within a week or so and I'll definitely post a review/pics.

Can everyone who has received theirs give us an honest review of how they fit, with pictures if possible. Thanks!

Seems like pretty good pictures above and an honest opinion of the fitting.

ya exactly. Maybe a heat gun would fix the contour. I’ve never messed with carbon fiber. The gap is driving me crazy tho

I just wanted more input, and evidence, from more buyers in this GB, that this issue has been resolved 👍😉

You can't bend proper dry carbon with a heat gun, it would just eventually melt the resin and make a real mess. Looks like a new mould is needed for this piece or the vendor will need to dremel every piece coming out of the bad mould.

Do you at least get a “we’re in the money” car horn with that gap?

I looked them over again today. A dremel isn't going to fix the problem Agent Orange caught. The contour is off on the driver side vent. Agent Orange did a good job removing the flashing from the back of the vent, glued it down, but the contour held the gap.

Here is another picture of each side of mine with the same problem. I used a finger for reference. The contour is so high on the driver side I can slide my finger under the vent on a flat surface. Can't even get my finger to go under the passenger side.

@Carbonlution I think it is fair to ask for a driver side replacement to be sent to the customers that have already paid. Not really fair to ask us to send these back for a partial fix. I'll gladly resend the bad one back after receiving a correct part. I would do the same for my customers.

Ttz06vette’s straight weave pattern.

Agentoranges angled weave pattern.

I’m just trying to wrap my head around all this.
How did Ttz06vette’s side vents install so perfectly, with no gaps whatsoever, to Agentorange’s large gap, and broken clips??
If the next few buyers have the same issues, I’m going to have to pull out of this GB for the vents. I’ll still purchase the window diffusers.

Anyone else notice the angled weave pattern of Agentoranges vents? Ttz06vette’s weave pattern is straight, just like the GT2-RS.
