you are correct. It’s very subtle tho, the glue will fix that. The driver side is worse. I’ll get photos tomorrow

Here are photos of driver side. you can see when installed that they aren’t flush. Quite a gap. And I have to press them down, then glue.

Also you’ll see the resin that I need to dremel down cuz it damaged my ppf, dam

so check for the hump of resin before install

Your vent has excess material on the back that causes the vent not sits flat against the body panel, the excess material will need to be trimmed off and we will fix that for you. Please send us an email at sales@carbonlution.com to arrange a package pick up and we will take care of the rest.

Great.

So, my question to Carbonlution,

Knowing this small issue, can we sew about better quality control goes into the following sets of scoops to avoid this moving forward?

I'm excited to get them.

Thanks for the drivers side pics Agentorange. That gap is completely ridiculous!!!!

I’m just wondering how long you’d have to press on the side vents, before the glue would dry?
And then, how would you be able to pull these back off, if you needed to return it to stock??

Wow, what a complicated process, for what should be a plug and play install!!
I have a regular garage, and am not mechanically gifted. This is looking like I’m going to have to take it to a body shop, and pay them $$$$ to install these vent covers🤦‍♂️

i left them for 2 hours under heavy pressure which you can see how I did that against the car lift in the photos in my past post. Once dry they look and feel solid.
I don’t plan on returning to stock and I’m sure if u did it would be a mess.

however if Carbonlutions gets their next batches to fit better then it would be simply pop them in and get some good/thick double sided tape. and then easily removable.

That's not good. I would like to them to be plug and play without all that excess "stuff". Carbonlution please ensure that is the case.

Agent - thanks for the pics and helping out.
