Well that’s not good🤦‍♂️😞

Do you think 3M double sided tape will be enough to hold the front of these vents so that they’re flush?

the 3M tape thats already on them is not enough.
I also took a dremel to the dried resin On the back in order to make them be flush to TTS.
I will be using the supplied glue to tack them to the car because right now there’s a small gap. And I’ll need to prop something against them while the glue dries. My entire car has ppf so I’m not worried about glue.

Well, I’ll be honest. This info doesn’t give me a lot of confidence in these CF side vents fitting properly. 🤦‍♂️😣

Installing mine this weekend. I bought extra strong, extra wide double stick tape. I’m not glueing. If the tape doesn’t hold...........

It looks like some may experience driver-side might have a slight gap that causes tape not adhere well to the body of the car with the tape that was attached on the vent. For the second batch we will have them fixed before sending them out and people from the first batch if you are experiencing this please let us know and we will get them fixed for you.

here
(this passenger side was very flush. Just needs some thicker 3M to stick well to side)

Agentorange, did you take any pictures of the gap on the drivers side vent?

Wow...I wonder if the fix requires sending the vent back for remediation?

It would be great if someone could post a video of the removal of the stock vents and installation of these vents.

Perhaps it is the picture but the fit looks less than optimal and the quality.... If it were I, I'd would stay with the OE non carbon part.

thanks 👍. It looks like there is a bit of a gap in the middle of the vent cover, on your passenger side pictures. Is that true?
