What did you do to your 991 turbo today?

Red
Needed a bit more Red to Balance the wheels and center stripe so we did the mirrors.
Also, it might just be my imagination, but I swear the car feels more planted with the new RS side Skirts and Factory Aerokit Upgrade front lip. 🤣🤷🏻♂️😂

Suncoast has them now as a stand alone part...before you had to spend $5k to buy the whole factory kit..which also includes sideskirts and rear spoiler...
I didn’t like the sideskirts because they aren’t as wide as the RS version...and wasn’t a big fan of the factory rear diffuser upgrade.
but loved the front lip cause it balances the narrow front end with the sexy rear of our cars.
Suncoast has the lip by itself now for $700-$800

yes for sure...if you want you car to get the attention I think they deserve then this was worth it lol
pictures don’t capture the color completely...it holds the light and looks like it glows in person.
literally every gas station, every parking lot I park in, somebody approaches me going gahgah over the car.
the only snafew is that film is a bit too thick for those curves and there was some extra edging work needed to keep some of the more complex edges from lifting...that was a pita, but worth it to have a completely unique color.
*Apparently its a film meant to be printed on and used on big flat surfaces like the side of truck trailers...and the color was unique because it’s printed on, not the actual film color.

So, does that mean there is another color under the blue? It's not going to run or peel?
I am really taken by the contrast of the red wheels on the blue - I think it works very well. You cannot see the thickness of the film, it looks very uniform.
Light the fires and kick the tires - summer top down fun is here!

^Steven:
How was the front lip install?
Time needed?
How does it fasten? 3m tape, screws?
Does the price include flat black paint? How much painted?
TYIA/Cheers,
B

You and me both - mine are pretty much identical to the ones I took off - yours are different?

its crazy the looks the car gets now...at the Ritz people were looking right over the Lambo’s and Ferrari’s and walking up to my car to take pics and ask questions.
had a hilarious moment
we have a newborn and a 7 year old...bought the Aton 2 car seat
so all four of us were there plus our overnight bags and a couple of beach tents
so we are standing there at the valet and the car comes round...
first people start gawking at the car, then get amused when they see four of us and a the luggage...five minutes later I’m getting in the car and a guy comes up saying “I didn’t think there was any way in hell all of you and all that stuff was gunna fit in that car!” 😂😂😂
I turned around and said: “It’s a family car. 🤷🏻♂️😂😂😂
with that color and those red wheels I swear when it rolls up, even next to blacked out Lambo’s it looks like one of those pictures where my car is in color and the rest of the picture is in black and white lol

That, is of interest to me - I understand the dynamic effect on the suspension when driving normally is vastly improved.
I look forward to your comments.

Looking like it is going to storm after dinner, so it may not be tonight, but I'm looking forward to it too. I had one for my 997tt and it made a lot of difference, especially on eibach lowering springs. I'm expecting similar results (and will be disappointed if they aren't!)
