Yeah, this is with Sam's XR kit. The TQ has been held back to preserve the clutches and rods. This is the dip you see in the middle of the curve.

That was cool during a super early soccer game ha ha. Hope you continue to enjoy it! Until it’s ready to hit the Crackpipe again ha ha.

Smart move. Clutches definitely open the floodgates to more power.

Just curious where you're going for work on the car if youre not doing it yourself? I have no luck finding shops, especially with out having social media.

Yeah I figured I’d just do it all at once if/when I go built motor. The limitations of the clutches and rods are pretty similar I think (~700tq) so I didn’t feel like I was leaving a whole lot on the table by staying on the stock clutches. It’s also keeping me in check (along with Sam) from wanting to lean on it too much lol.

I sent the car over to Sam/World Motorsports to have the XR work done and tuned then had it shipped back. I’m in the same boat as far as finding good shops here in Phoenix which is a surprise given the number of ones available. I’ve heard good things about Lusso Motorsports in Scottsdale but more on the maintenance and regular service side. If/when I get the motor done I’ll have John at EvoSpec handle that.

Well done. EvoSpec is Evolution Motorsports? If so, they're only a few miles from me, gotta check them out myself.

Yeah I am not sure of the exact current/former relationship between EvoSpec and EvoMS but EvoSpec is the shop in Phoenix off the I17 and Peoria. I am pretty sure John’s main focus is just building engines but he did mention they are trying to ramp up their dyno program and start renting it out. He is going to try and start making it out to some cars and coffee to promote that a little more. It’s also why they hosted the dyno day.

If your looking for a good local Porsche shop in Phoenix I have been going to Murtha Motorsports in Gilbert. He was a Certified Gold tech at Chandler Porsche for over 10 years and decided to start his own shop. Very knowledgeable and has the piwis 3 for our cars. Maintained both my TTS and my wife's track car ( Cayman S ) for the last 8 months.

Awesome, thank you for the reference! I am on the other side of the valley in NW Peoria, but it would be worth the occasional trip if they know what they are doing.

I know what you mean. I'm in the North Central part of Phoenix Just south of Anthem. It's a drive but well worth it.

Thank you Dan. It was a pleasure to meet you. My offer is still open if you ever want to meet up and take a spin in my 2018 TTS and experience drivability with full power (with meth turned on) or reduced power with no meth and I have several tunes from @SamboTT@ByDesign that you can try out if you would like to. It's very easy to switch tunes with the Cobb AP and the meth can be turned on and off at the push of a button.

And I'll extend the offer to others in the Los Angeles area who might be on the fence about what tune to get etc.
