Sorry to hear about your foot, Sam! Probably better you stay home as it would be too easy/tempting to add a "little" more. Unless John's lead time on a getting me a new bottom end has dropped down lol.

I managed a 170 with bolt ons and 93 tune, then a 175 with the same mods but E30 tune.

Either way, I just go because it's an excuse and a freebie to launch the car and go through the gears without risking getting in trouble or offending a sissy. Great way to gauge the car against other modified cars out there too. There's always going to be a faster car.

Good to meet you also, I got there a little late and it would have be fun to get a couple runs in side by side. Still haven't bought my ticket yet though.

Going to spread the word

I Installed the full DO88 BigPak kit. If you mark the IC cages before you break down the stock IC's , all of the seams and bolt holes line back up like OEM. Can't tell the rear fascia has been off. The cages have a lot of slop in the bolt holes and slots and can really cause issues if not perfectly bolted back.

3 runs? I don't think I've ever made less than 20 in a day. Was that a mechanical issue or something?

wow, good to know. Ive seen others with the bulge as well and thought it was normal. Next time I get under there I'll try to adjust the IC cages.

This...lol. And Payam didn't have any industrial strength duct tape with him so I called it a day.

I did use it as an excuse to upgrade so not all bad I guess.

Those going to the AZ event. I brought a pump sprayer full of ice and water. Soaked the intercoolers between runs. Seemed to have helped getting higher trap speeds. Power stayed on longer through 4th and beyond.

Gave it a wash, as well as some much needed cosmetic bits, a lot more power and a nice drop #ESNOBS

You may want to give it a rinse also.

Had a great time with other Porsche enthusiasts enjoying a free concert at a local vineyard yesterday. The drive home, I had my first deer strike in my 46 years of driving. A dent over the front side marker and pushed the front quarter panel out of alignment with the door. I'm sure others have had much worse, but this sucks!

Really hate that happened. Dang deer. I left a NHRA race at midnight in 2015 and had just set the cruise control on the 4 lane. Deer jumped from a bank right into the center of my suv. Destroyed the front fascia, front hood, broke the windshield, airbags deployed and I could not see due to the dust ......zipping down the 4 lane....with a hood ornament and steam flying everywhere ......fun,fun.fun....
