My pleasure brother! It's a fun experiment to test them against the obvious top pick of the liter.

I wished I could have swapped to my PS4S's and done the exact roads in the same condition the next day. That would have been even better.

Excuse my french, but those tires suck. I've nearly been in a wreck with those in a different 991.2 Pirelli P Zero are even better and they are unpopular tires.

Not clear on which tires you are referring to - which ones do you think are the worst and which do you think are the best?

My guess is he is referring to the Conti's (as the ones that suck) - but it's not super obvious..

Sorry! lol

They both suck. The P Zero's are better and we all know how unpopular those are.

Well, at the risk of sounding arrogant, I drive putting dang aggressive / quickly on roads like we did this past wknd. with other very capable fast cars and had no trouble staying with them on these Conti's.
I really wouldn't want to or should be going any quicker on a public roadway. Now on track, I'm sure I could find the "gap" between them. I'd love to try the P-Zero's someday to see.

So, I wouldn't say they "sucked".

You're far from arrogant my friend. You make sucky tires look good. Im sure youve done crazier driving given your carreer. Those would be some stories I'd like to hear over a beer.

Don't mind me, I'm a tire snob. Anything but Michelin are a compromise IMO (handling wise, not drag) save for Trofeo Rs or some other high end track tire.

I just wouldn't mess with the squirm the contis give personally. Your review was very accurate.

How was the driving? Seems like it would be a circus/cluster with that many cars. How big were the run groups?

Thank you Sir. I agree with what you say as well. Like I said, for the little savings, I'd much rather go with the Michelins.

There were almost 50 cars I think. It was a bit of a cluster to keep everyone together, but they provided radios to each driver and instructions for everyone to relay the msgs. back to the back of the pack. Stops were short for fuel and the folks at the back didn't get long to use the restroom and get a snack.

If you up front and made it a point to get back up front, it wasn't bad at all. The pace was extremely fun and was easy for us to stay together.
