Got driver's side turbo installed, good
Got passenger side turbo installed, let me just make that top exhaust manifold to turbo bolt a little tighter, and I broke the stud. Oil and water lines back off, turbo back out, extracted the broken stud and put in new one
I'll get it back on the car later tonight
Anyone have any tips on priming the turbo with oil before the first start - just fill up the reservoir that hangs off the bottom of the turbo?

Pour a little oil in the top of it before you put the line on, should be good to go.

Several down here do. Certain dealers will too. Everything is local in the modded world.

How would he notice 68mm hybrid VTGs? They look the same as the OEM 991.2 TTS units. Not sure if they look any different than the OEM TT units either? Unless you go full frame, seems like the best stealth mod on a 991 is bigger hybrid VTG turbos - less visually noticeable than almost any other mod besides a tune.

Yep…
Agreed - not the easiest mod to spot compared to the way headers, exhaust or even plenums and Y pipes are obviously different when upgraded. There are times when I think I might as well get the 68s anyway.

Finished up all the mods, did a test drive. Initial drive was fine. Threw all the cat codes and underboost CE on 2nd drive. Also has exhaust leaks at end of cat pipes to mufflers that I'll have to fix sooner or later. For what a kline system cost, disappointed in the hardware and fitment and how the flanges are so cheap/thin.
Hopefully the codes are just tune and not having to pull it back apart.

Any particular codes its throwing? Very common and easy thing to do is jar those pesky vacuum lines loose. Especially that T fitting above the center of the airbox or from/to the diverter valves.
