Do you know where the guy with the Polar Silver one beside yours bought it?? That looks JUST like the car I almost bought from a guy here in GA several years ago.I did a video on it...Still have it..... Maybe I'll just post it here.It had 55K miles on it when I drove it... Any clue if he bought it out of GA?
The Polar Silver one is mine as well...
I bought a second 996 Turbo last year. I was helping a friend look for one, found this one, he wasn't able to do it, so I jumped on it! It was for sale about 5 miles from my house...
From the Carfax, it started in Arizona, but has been in Colorado since 2008, so different car. This one is Polar over Grey Special Leather (nearly black) with small carbon pack. Came with Europipe, KWV3, some other goodies and was ridiculously clean. Cool video though!
...and apologies for the excessive 996 Turbo content on the 991 page.
In 991 Turbo news, my package from DO88 arrived this afternoon, ordered through Sam. DO88 Plenum and Y-pipe. Construction quality and design looks really nice. Ridiculously fast shipping! less than 6 days from order, and shipped from Sweden!
The stock y-pipe, throttle body boot, and plenum have some limitations, particularly in the 991.1 version (more details later), so apart from any minor improvements in performance and sound I might achieve, it is a much more robust setup. Plus plumbed for meth if I decide to go that route. Pictures to follow!

It was an expensive, but exciting few days for the Turbo. I dropped it off at World Motorsports for Sam and the boys to have some fun with and I got a nice package from the UPS man for when it gets back.
Be ready, I will ask you what color WG's and BOV's like 3 more times before we start haha! Connor's car will be here next week so you win.

When I ordered my wheels, it wasn’t possible to order those BBS wheels in a bronze or gold finish. They would have been my first choice.
I know it seems a bit much to do it to a brand new set of wheels, but Lee at Pristine Powdercoating does a great job at reasonable prices and can make them any color you want! He's done plenty of BBS wheels. Fairly local to you in Sheridan.

Edit: Never mind, I missed the past-tense "When" part and just saw "I ordered my wheels...."
Making some progress... Parts arrived, DO88 plenum and y-pipe on, another pressure test tomorrow. Very impressed at the design and implementation of the DO88 parts, not always the case with aftermarket "upgrades"!
They make great stuff. Good job bro. Don’t forget to zip tie all those little rubber joints where the plastic vacuum lines connect to each other.
I've always done that on my 996 Turbos were the fittings are barbed connectors and hoses, but on the 991, they look like hard-lines that are permanently glued with un-barbed connectors... I'm not seeing how zip ties would help much if the glue failed, but I guess it couldn't hurt! Have you seen them come apart? They look super tight on my car.
