Sooooooo, we will see what DSC says tomorrow.

Going to run it down to the border and back make sure everything is working properly.
If it happened on a high speed interstate, would it be able to maintain speed ?

I think so, it wouldn't let me change the driving mode, but otherwise seemed to drive ok.

The DSC problem you've had is definitely a bit disconcerting.... I know a sample size of two isn't really meaningful, but mine has performed perfectly for 2+ years in all kinds of conditions, including track.

Today, we got out for a drive with three generations of 911 Turbos spanning three decades!

The DSC thing really pisses me off.

My feelings are that it may have been a software issue initially, but it is likely a hardware failure somewhere in the system that is causing the software failure, now.

Tom has been very good, I am sure it'll be resolved.

Paul, as noted prior, fantastic lineup.

Sample size of three is not any more helpful, but mine has also performed perfectly for 2+ years in all conditions including track. Dumb question, but could this be a connection issue? Something loose?

No, the connector is pretty skookum, and it happened as I was turning into the driveway, so I don't think it was that.

I've had my DSC V3 since June 0f 2018 and it's been flawless.

Tom figured it was some kind of a voltage spike, I'll send it back to him and he will reboot it....

Funny how it happens to me...

They said the same about my failed unit, something about being on a battery tender all winter. Said it may be repairable if it' just needs re-flashed, guess I'll send it in and see.

Yes, he said the same to me, however, this car is driven year round, so that is likely not it.

So attaching a battery tender is blamed for bricking the DSC? And/or leaving a DSC-equipped Porsche on a tender will brick the DSC?
