Ouch!!

Your post says you've scheduled a dealer appointment. Can't this be a DIY project?

Yes, I wasn't about to take apart the wing, it is likely I would do more damage than good...

Apparently, though, not an option for a brake light in Canada...

Indeed - however, .2PDK may have a differing opinion...

I hear ya!

Not as complex as the wing, but last week I got up the nerve/confidence to replace the puddle light with a Porsche Tequipment light that projects the word "Porsche" on the ground when you open the door. The light is on the interior of the door and I was very reluctant to mess with the interior door panel. Read it was an easy procedure, tho. All I had to do was pry the light out and boy, was I gritting my teeth when putting the pressure on snapping it out. All and all it was about two, three minutes with the pull out and replacement on the first one and about a minute with the second. Now I have the big head that I can do anything now. Well, baby steps!

Below is the picture from the supplier ...

I might have attempted that.

When I changed my orange markers out, I watched the video on how to do it half a dozen times, and was still terrified that I would break the light, or worse, damage the body as I slid it out.

Neither happened, chalked that up as a 'win'.

Those defiantly look better than the chrome. No disrespect, but I'm glad those were deleted by Porsche for my model year.
