I almost did a piggyback tune on my 540 Hp 2017 Turbo, but am conflicted between a piggyback for maybe 50-60 Hp and an ECU flash tune for what? 100-110 Hp?
Thus far my mods include a BMC air filter and a BBI Barcode race exhaust (3" stainless X-pipe with muffler delete and no cats).
I dont want a radical tune, and dont want to have to do further intake mods, bigger intercoolers, etc, or have a blown intake pipe from too much boost.
And we have no E85, but plenty of 93 octane Premium available in my part of the USA for $3.38/gal this week :-)
What tune(s) and what stage of that would be appropriate for my wants?

Since you have no cats, a @SamboTT@ByDesign custom tune would delete the warning light, be super safe from an experienced tuner and make maximum power. It’s a figured package.
New rears on the Tire Eater today... 6,700 miles on the rear Pilot Sport 4S tires and they were DONE!
What kind of mileage are others getting out of their tires?
PS: Totally hooked on these mobile tire sales/install companies. Top notch tech's that work on supercars and race cars everyday, great equipment, super competitive prices, and they will do it right at my house. Had them also do my 996 Turbo a few months ago (which gets even less life out of a set of rears!)

Yeah, but that's like 3 years worth of driving in this state.. Well at least for me. What's the mobile tire company? I used OnSite a while back. They were ok.

PLENTY of driving days around here!
I put on those 6,700 991 Turbo miles in 15 months and another 4,000+ put on the 996 Turbo in the same time period. And thats no road trips or commuting, almost all 'fun' miles.

I've been using Tread Connection in Denver lately... PM me if you want the owners direct phone. I think they are a franchise, so the service might not be the same in all locations, but Jeff who runs the local operation has great techs and great equipment.
I'm still on the oem fronts as delivered, the rears were replaced at 12k miles due to a screw in the sidewall, but they had life left in them...
Wow, thats far better than my tire life! P Zero's or PS4S's? I also burn through my 996 Turbo RT615K+ rears in ~6,000 miles.
Maybe I should slow down a bit to preserve my tires a bit more? (not a chance...)
The good news is that my PCCB brakes are holding up phenomenally! ~64,000 total miles and the original pads are still at 7mm thickness (~11mm new), and thats with several track days, plus the kind of driving that eats a set of MPS4S in 6K miles.
I've seen recommendations to swap to new pads at just under half thickness (5mm) if you track the car just to help protect the expensive rotors and will likely do that later this year. Factory spec is to replace at 2mm. On a street car even driven aggressively, 100K+ miles out of original pads should be the norm.

I'm not promoting the tune I have over a custom tune from Sam or others, but for what it is, it's pretty amazing. For an OTS quick tune with a tune switcher, it's pretty good.
I only have a GIAC Stage 2 plus tune and a hatless exhaust. My tune has the 100 octane switchable tune also. With that tune It's trapped 140 mph and capable running 9's (hence the car in FL that ran five 9 sec. passes in a row in good DA conditions.
Drives like stock too.
If it wasn't for my car already having an older Stg. 1 GIAC tune and the upgrade was so cheap to do, I would have bought a Cobb AP and had Sam do his magic for sure. I know he could net a bit more, but for the money it only made sense. If I decide to ever upgrade and do other mods (IC's, Y-pipe, Plenum, and Meth), I'll definitely go with Cobb / Sam.

P4S'... after experiencing the Zeroes on the M5, never again, on anything.
A lot probably has to do with the rate at which it is driven - once a year, for the last four years, the tts does a single 2200+ km road trip to Alberta and back, otherwise it's strictly a to and from work ride that likely doesn't even get the tyres to operating temps. Likewise for the 996.
TTs rotors are basically brand new, pad wear is minimal.
And it will continue this way for at least the next three years as the Porsche extended warranty is going on it this month...
I basically haven't done much as all with my TTS since October (due to the mom situation I've mentioned)
However, I did have all 4 vehicles washed by a friend on Wed. so at least the TTS is in the garage clean and ready for when I can get back to my normal life. Late Jan. is the estate sale and then waiting on probate to be able to sell her house. So maybe by February sometime, I can start driving a bit again.

I think the technical term is, 'Engineered Solution'...
