I used to have the 993tt poster (framed) with that advertising phrase on it; great sales pitch, burnt, along with the rest of my house.

Looks good.

WRONG! PITA. The filter is nearly impossible to get to, even after removing half the undercarriage and a leveling sensor off the driver's side rear suspension to gain access.
Heavier weight oil is not always a good idea for normal driving use, I would research it further and then decide imo.

Wow, that's fast. Had you pulled the PCM before and already very familiar with the process? It took me at least an hour just to open the PCM, install the new board, cables, etc... 🤣🤣🤣. Then it took me another hour just figure out where to stuff the external box. I ended up putting it under the PCM. Is that where you put it?

CF extensions to paddles. Wish there was an option to just change to CF paddles on the .1. Also added the CF shifter cover.

Where did you get the CF paddle extenders? Thanks!

Negative. This was from start to finish . I tucked the unit under the passenger footwell [can't see anything, not even cables] so I can easily access it to add USB or whatever I might want to in the future.

Yeah I was totally bummed out that day. Not even one clean run. Without a doubt I'll be going to the next event without a bumper on. Easy access.

I ran against the black GTR you ran that's driven by a friend of a friend. I'm putting about 3-4 car lengths on it and get out of the hole quicker every time.

I emailed Tony which is the even organizer and informed him about the rocks, pebbles and debris. Hopefully he reads it and they bring a shop broom or a leaf blower next time.

Nice to meet you down there!

Sorry to hear about the runway conditions. My friends were having issues too.

Speaking of the paddles (also have the paddle extenders which I like) I drove a friend's 488 last weekend and even though I prefer the turbo it was fun to drive. Actually I preferred the paddles staying connected to the column and not turning with the steering wheel. That way when turning the proper paddle always stays in the same place.

Wonder how the different manufacturers decide how to do it?

(of course I prefer a manual transmission in the first place, but don't have that choice with the turbo)

We were dodging massive palm leaves out there in the right lane lol. The burnouts at the front of the line are a bit unnecessary too. Those cars also shoot stones/pebbles at the ones behind them. They should be burning out in the staging area where the cars back up near the edge.

Sorry you had problems with your car...looking forward to December and cooler conditions!

I talked to Tony also...that was the worse track conditions I have ever seen at Gila Bend. And I heard that in the drivers meeting he said they swept the runway...huh? When? Last week? LOL

It was so dusty that even with AWD I was spinning off the line. Plus the conditions (wind and humidity) were not the best for good speeds. Everyone in the pits was complaining about being 3-5 mph slower than normal but then again it could be their new timing equipment???

For instance I have run there for years and I was thinking my car should have been a 160mph car...but with the conditions my best run was 157.89mph. Not unhappy but hoping cooler weather at December NFZ and with a decent launch I think 160mph is doable???

Hope to see you there!
