I just put my Sharkwerks exhaust on today... Cliff notes version, I LIKE IT!

Here are the iterations I've tried so far:
.
  • Originally full stock. *Way* to suppressed. More hoover than exhaust.
  • Then stock exhaust with cat bypass. Big improvement over stock, though still pretty mellow. Definitely more pops and burbles.
  • Now Sharkwerks with stock cats back in. Better still... I thought the Sharkwerks would be pretty sharp and loud as they are essentially a straight-pipe design, one reason I put the stock cats back on, but not so. Very pleasant inside the car, definitely a lower, deeper tone, almost no resonance/drone, pronounced burble and pop on decel
Pretty happy with it! Such a light, simple design that installs easily and works quite well.

PS, we did the install without removing the rear bumper. With a lift it is *definitely* possible to remove the stock exhaust and install another. The only even slightly challenging part is working the stock exhaust out of the car. You kind of have to pry it down a slight bit, the exhaust mount flexes slightly, and it comes right out.

First cold start video of the exhaust below. Some of the vapors coming out at first are a bit of residual PB Blaster blowing out.... I'll try and get a few more videos after fully warmed up and inside the cabin.

Sharkwerks exhaust, stock cats, cold start:

And a BIG thanks to @Beezupra for helping with the install!

Not today, but I installed these awesome, cheap ebay carbon fiber paddles. Excellent quality and finish. Nice extension. Paid only $150 shipped, honestly wouldn't be happier with DB carbon or other expensive options.

These are the full actual paddles, not the stick on extensions.

Installed our 2.5 X-Pipe with 100 cell HJS cats last Friday and did a 500 mile PCA Spring Rally through the White Mountains of northern NH to test the performance and sound attributes this past weekend. What a great weekend of driving! And this may be the best sounding exhaust we have ever developed. Absolutely no drone at all and really wakes the car up nicely with such an exotic, refined, classy sound character. The pops and gurgles in sport mode are enhanced just right, not too overbearing, but IMO, tweaked to a perfect level. High RPM wail is beautiful. This system is just fantastic! Will be doing some video tomorrow to highlight it.

Had a paint defect on the bumper repaired. As long as I had to replace the emblem I thought I’d try something different.

I also bought the washer caps from Suncoast so I could have those painted at the same time.

That steering wheel - is it a thicker flat bottomed unit? Can it be had with the current controls that are on my unit?

I think I would like that in a thicker flavor.

OEM multifunction steering wheel in gray leather sent to TechArt for custom stitching, top center stripe and yellow spoke inserts.

So, you just pulled the factory one and sent it to them?

That's handy, thanks!

Purchased a second OEM steering wheel (pictured above) to send to Germany, then sent them my original back for a "core credit". Costs more that way, but the car was never undriveable while they were making my custom wheel (took about 5 weeks).

So, 2f, you forced me to look back in my paperwork, and I am chagrined to admit that my ancient brain misremembered the mod; TechArt themselves supplied the custom wheel (which you are right has a small flat shape on the bottom), then I sent them back the OEM wheel. Still, the second picture I showed you is indeed the original OEM wheel. If that is thicker than yours, I don't know why. My car is a 2017 Turbo S Cabriolet.

Ok, I found my boost leak but it was not a blown boot. Has anyone ever seen the Plenum explode at the seams just like this?

this is definitely going to require a bumper off fix. I’m assuming this is why people purchase IPD Y pipes and Plenums??
