Buy a system that works with OEM cats...and bypass tubes. Throw the cats back on as/when needed.

👍 Where there's a will, there's a way. 😁

Easy enough to eliminate, even without a tune. I'm running cat bypass and just use o2 extenders on the rear sensor, zero CEL's so far. Lots of different brands, zero need for silly 'mini cat' extender. I prefer the 90 degree style like below. Don't stress about which insert, even with no insert you will likely get no CELs

So that just basically takes the rear O2 sensors far enough away that they can't get a good whiff? What insert did you use?

Thanks, yeah, I understood that is another option.

It's even cheaper/easier to tune it out, like I did with my previous 996. I simply haven't gotten around to it with my tuner yet.

Got painted panels for my key:

My original key was looking pretty beat up after 4 years of general wear and tear.

The original Porsche price for this option is stupid beyond belief; but for $10 on the ebay aftermarket, it's all good.

PS. - this mod adds 20 horsepower

Off topic a bit, but wanted you guys opinion...(Feel free to answer on my "Stepped Up" thread if you want. I posted there too:

Couple of things for you TT / TTS expert folks out there. I was invited to do a Track Day event / Auto Cross / Laps with instructor at AMP (Atlanta Motorsports Park) with a good friend that's a member there.

I need to do a couple of things. First change the oil / filter, have my brakes flushed / filled / bled, and I was possibly thinking of buying a new set of tires. If available I might spring for some Cup 2's since summer is coming and I've always wanted to try a set. Esp. on track.

So, questions are this:

1 - For Cup 2's on track, what are COLD tire pressures to be set for best track grip (assuming outside temps will be in the 50-70 range since we're warming up????
2 - Anyone have a recommendation of "better" Brake Fluid to use / swap in to these cars for better performance / longer life?

Lastly -

If I decide to have the alignment messed with, can anyone share any Specs for a good Track / Street alignment that's better than stock but won't eat up the inside of the tires for reg. street use to / from the mountains when we go drive??

You should ping @Randyc151 and @Jean - they have a lot of track experience with the TT/S

Looks really good - are those HRE wheels or BBS FiR's. I do like the white and black contrasting elements!
