What did you do to your 991 turbo today?

That's a guarantee over here. IF I don't snap a tab on some sort of trim, I feel incredibly happy and accomplished. That's one type of car work I just can't finesse.

Got it back from the Dealer - turns out it wasn't a CV, rather, the strut top mount required some lubrication... never heard of that, but OK.
Also, the fuel sender was recalibrated - handy.

The front right axle was making a 'clicking sound; it became more pronounced as the wheel was turned to lock - history has taught me that would be a CV on its way out; Porsche thought the same thing too initially - they had the car since last Thursday, so it took them a bit to figure out it was a lube issue.

I've had have my 991 Turbo S in for some minor warranty repairs. They had the front belly cover off and noticed both my front, inside CV boots were damaged and they will be replacing them under warranty.
Now I've seen and heard of plenty of CV boots needing to be replaced on ~20 year old 996 Turbos (have one of those as well), but has anyone else needed CV boots on their 991 Turbo? Although it does have 50K miles, I was a bit surprised.

Very strange.
As you expected, “Click” is usually metal on metal. Things that respond to lube are usually a material with a hardness quite a bit short of metal.
IMO, There’s more to this story that we won’t figure out for a while yet.

Could very well be, but for now, clicking is gone and the fuel is reading the correct level, so that is a plus.

Put a quicksilver catback exhaust on (muffler delete). Car sounds way better but still a bit too quiet I think. Any recommendations for cat delete pipes? I'm thinking Soul if they're in stock.

That exhaust will be LOUD after the cat delete and expect a good amount of drone/resonance as well.

Techart springs, however, the noise is associated with the rotation of the wheel.
