Out for a drive sporting my new industrial-look trim. At the same time as getting some trim painted, and sampling a new FVD sport exhaust. Will need a couple more drives to settle my thoughts about it. Sure looks nice and is well-crafted.

WAIT a sec, did you give up your Soul muffler?

I'd be interested in it if you have...

....didn't give it up, I've put the Soul and FVD in to a shootout. Hoping to avoid putting the bumper back on until I can tell which wins.

If the FVD wins, I'm interested in the Soul - I really liked how it sounded with the stock cats.

I really like the silver stripes on your car MotoJB. May have to do something similar.

Thanks Robert.

I dig 'em!

I may wrap the car sometime but for now, the stripes change it up and make it a tad more interesting.

Don't laugh, I'm arranging a test drive of a 2019 and if I get it I'll be reaching out for details...

Installed the following yesterday:
-new hood prop struts. The Porsche approved special service tool shown below is available at your local Home Depot 😁. My hood prop struts seemed fine, but after adding a lid liner, they were no longer up to the task. The new struts have no problem supporting the hood with the lid liner installed.
-NM Automotive wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay module. Nothing super hard about the install, but definitely time consuming. However, not for the faint of heart if you are not comfortable with disassembling your interior, disassembling your PCM, and modifying your PCM.
-Rennline phone mount.
-991.2 PDK trim (changes +/- shift indicators to match Cobb PDK tune). I did like the "turbo" script on the 991.1 trim better than "911" on the 991.2.
-leather key fob cover. My fob was always sliding out of my pocket and had to hunt for it when I got to my destination. I'm hoping this will add a bit of friction and keep it in my pocket.

I may have to attempt this one, I really miss my Android Auto. Is there a tutorial you followed?
