A dealership in Virginia has 3 allocations remaining for GT3's and one with a July build and September delivery. I called, and the SA said the allocation is going for 50K over MSRP but if I offered 45K over MSRP he would present the offer but no guarantees. I have the money but you would have to be a moron to pay 45 or 50K over MSRP........

So he has to tell me secretly because there are umpteen people in the dealership that would jump up and say me too........It's nice to be treated like an idiot. I told him it would be a cash deal and he laughs.....he says I get at least 4 cash offers for MSRP everyday..... What best describes this situation.....well.....ethically and morally bankrupt....

Sounds like some of the salesman I sweated over the years negotiating for cars way below MSRP. I would say close to Invoice!
At some point they wouldn't take it anymore and would bring reinforcements or give me the " I'm going in the back to speak with the manager and be right back ".

I did get a call from my dealership today regarding a 2016 Agate Grey GT3 with 3800 miles....I am considering it they are asking original MSRP plus tax/plus all the other fees....around 166K. The car is already wrapped and has LED PDL, leather/alcantara interior with red stitching, front end lift and allot of other high end finishes....considering it. Really wanted Guards red exterior......looks hot.

Though, my sales person is down to earth, and both helpful and responsive.....

Avatar pic is beautiful. I just don't understand why Porsche just lets it happen... if the demand is high.. bump up the price till people don't get PTS? For example.. if they only have 200 PTS slots, and there are 500 people asking for it at 6k, increase it until only 200 say ok, I'm willing to drop this amount of money for this?
Or am I being extraordinarily naive?

You don't live on the west coast (stealer capital). I'm hoping one of the 3 good guy dealers that I'm working with comes through for the GT3.
