I am having the same debate with myself Alan. Really like the 4 and not sure if the price delta is worth it. That engine though!!

Many not infatuated with Porsche would say the same thing about paying anything over for one of these cars too.

Agree and love how people are so against it yet they do it. What difference if it is a Yugo or a Porsche, you are still burning money.

The Honda example gets laughed at here, while others are laughing at what goes on here. All depends which set of goggles you're looking through.

All an exercise in marketing and a financial incentive for the dealership owners. I wouldn't blame the sales guys on this one, they're only the messengers. You could only imagine how much drama they have to deal with with guys that come out of the woodwork for these cars. I wouldn't want to do their job.

They could probably have an operator full-time on hand just to answer the fishing calls from around the country.

It's entertaining watching all the new threads that pop up every day rehashing the same old subjects.

There is only one company that comes up with a plan and controls supplying allocations. If there is blame to be placed, you know where it should be directed. The GT cars are just a disguised bonus incentive program for dealers.

Some people just "get" the GT4 and others' just do not. It is the least expensive sports car I have owned but my favorite.

But - that engine I have to have.

You just described my life exactly, some people probably think that's a funny exaggeration but that's spot on.. maybe a few sq ft less. And you forgot the taxes.

That's like saying you're indifferent to banging Salma Hayek or Rosie O'Donnell. You can't see why someone might be willing to pay a little for the former, but not the latter?
