675 LT or GT4 RS? Those are my 2 options right now.

The 4RS, like all P cars, is going to be supremely dialed in. The Mac is waaaay faster, the straight line performance is not even in the same ballpark. Two very different cars, one is a genuine attention-getting supercar with near hypercar performance, the other a very competent sports car that most people look at and think "well there's another Porsche..." Ask yourself which one you want. Of course if you can get the 4RS at MSRP that could be a factor too.

Agree with below ……GT4 RS will not be many of them, but 675LT fun factor will surpass the GT4RS, down side 675LT 2016 model no warranty, but if it’s a 2nd or 3rd car go with the wild hooker she’s more fun. Fun factor in the 675LT is insane, and we went for breakfast, the Porsche’s were all passed up and the 675LT was the show ……..and I’m a Porsche guy first. 675LT is my longest ownership in a sports car, and the speedster is 2nd so I want for nothing now/ I drive them hard

I got to watch these at the track this morning. They look and sound amazing. That GTR is seriously fast. That's my yellow GT3 in the background.

Having worked at McLaren and now running an automotive company specialising in McLaren, Ferrari and Porsche I would say the one to get is the 675LT.
The 675LT is a great car for the money, yes the 765LT and 600LT are now probably more complete and faster but the 675LT has a different character about it - complete the major service items in half the mileage or year deadlines and it should look after you for years. We have many cars here and some over 70,000Km which are on track most weekends and don't skip a beat.
Personally I prefer the Porsche driving experience and reliability, but if funds allowed a 675LT would most certainly be in my garage, as they won't depreciate much further than the price they are at now.

Lots of 675LT content in this thread which keeps me intrigued. How is the fit for larger people? I'm 6'2" and 225 lbs. Does the Spider have less headroom? Are there certain seats that sit lower or have less padding? Thanks for any info from those of you with experience.

Im 6'2 & 205lbs and there is plenty of room. Mine is fitted with the comfort seats which are mounted a bot higher and have more padding.

For taller guys, in general the spider has a little less head and leg room in my personal experience. Can be an issue for some tall folks.
Also, seat width can vary a lot depending on which seat too.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like me at 6'2", no concerns. I think I would lean toward the Spider if there's enough headroom (and it sounds like there would be), just because I've never had an open top car, and it seems like with the 675LT, it doesn't sacrifice any rigidity.

Just saw this car pop up over the weekend, and it's ideal spec in my mind, though Volcano Red would probably be first choice since I own a Speed Yellow p-car.

Another seat question. On the race seats, is there any height adjustment (like on the LWBS in the GT3)? My wife would likely occasionally drive the car as well, and likes to sit at an abnormally high seating position.

Easiest thing is to wait for local dealer to get one in, but I've lost interest in doing any business with them if it can be avoided.

head room is the same, and seat only moves backwards and forward. Pending your wife’s height if she’s not 5’7 or taller may be tough to see over the hood.

You can adjust the height of the seats but it involves taking out and reinstalling the seat - there are three height positions if I remember correctly - get this done at the time of purchase or it will be expensive. I am 6ft and had the driver seat set to the lowest portion.

Thanks again everyone. Really appreciate the feedback. Probably would focus on comfort seats for the versatility for the wife, especially if I would fit comfortably in a Spider.

Volcano red is about the best color I have seen. I had a 12C in it. Amazing paint.

Hate to say, if you are not enamored with your local dealer, you definitely need to know who will be able to service the car when needed, as like many exotics, they definitely need service from time to time (and that is if there are no problems - some Mclarens have been known to be finicky)
