This is the best car Ive ever driven or owned. The 765 is the complete package. To the point that its rendered every other car in my garage obsolete. Probably gonna sell some of the others as I dont see them getting driven as much in the future with the 765 in the garage,

Insane vehicle.
That speaks volumes. Wow. Congratulations and enjoy it all in good health!
My neighbor has a fleet of cars including a GT2RS, speedster, and 992 turbo s.
He has been raving about his 765 coupe. I am supposed to give it a run Sunday.
Will report back after the canyon runs.
Be sure to heat up the tires before you stand on it and leave traction on. Acceleration is insane, it will spin up to 100MPH if the tires aren't warm. Its raw but not uncomfortable.
I come to this forum to learn more about 991.1RS’ as a potential alternative to a 650, and I’m getting pulled back to McLarens! In a 991 forum!
love my 981GT4. Worried that the ownership experience is risky(ier) with McLaren versus Porsche but that’s offset by my dealership experience to date.
Porsche, I know that you’re using volumes to maintain scarcity of your amazing cars, but your dealers are using that to abuse your customers. Im out.
The exception is if I can find a beauty spec 991.1RS with a long warranty and the engine already replaced with a G6, a good history of the car and at the right price. That’s a long list of [AND]s!
Not seeing another alternative within Pcars - I’d love a 4RS but tired of trying and the concept that only those who are willing to get fleeced will get one (although some dealers don’t do this).
pleased to see in this thread that some are finding these McLarens bulletproof. Tons of useful info in this!
Many people who own mclarens came from other marques and/or hold multiple marques . No wrong choices with any of these cars . Sometimes it’s good to try something else . If buying used then buy from a Mac dealer and If not then get a good pre purchase inspection …. Too many wounded /neglected /modified cars out there now (I’ve had several Porsches and many , many mclarens )…. Just about every Mac owner in this thread also have Porsches or had Porsches and will in the future…. This picture is after I did a brake flush/bleed in the senna
Yes ^^ thanks. That’s exactly where my head is at too. Only buy a super clean car from my McL dealer with a known history and an existing warranty that I can extend further.
My dealer just dropped their price of its 4K mile 675LT clubsport to C$400k. Man I wish I had the money!!!!
I think 650 is my car. Will be hard to find the right one but in the meantime I’ll just love my GT4 that much longer.

You don't need to worry about the G6 engine with an RS its only with the GT3 that you would look for a G6 engine. All 991.1 RS were 2016's. So one off your AND list

ohhh, I though that the failures affected the .1 RS too.
