Mclaren is going to have a very tough time finding a buyer for themselves..

Default GT2RS vs 720S Spider at Laguna on equal rubber

Given the massive advantage the Cup 2R has over any other street tire, I was interested to see this video pop up with both cars on Goodyear 3R tires.

Interesting video - insanely FAST. It seems whenever I witness a 720 on track it has a deer like whistle noise (but not Senna or Senna GTR).

Speaking of the Senna, I just finished a blog comparing the Senna to the 997.2 GT3 RS.

https://karenable.com/race-cars-for-...na-911-gt3-rs/

very different but both highly engaging.

Does anyone have insight on this 675LT?
https://www.mclarenboston.com/2016-m...675lt-c-94.htm

How wise or unwise is it to buy a 675LT in the current market? I’m curious to get your take on things.

Someday, I might find a roof scoop 675LT coupe. I figured I can still enjoy a nice one in the meantime. Seems like a bucket list car to be experienced so I might as well give it a shot.

6000 miles 675 chicane grey spider sold at approximately $330k within one day of listing at my dealer (two weeks ago). It was fairly low spec relatively speaking.

Many times I joke with myself and say anything over 100k is wise, but we do it anyways. Looks like there’s 19 for sale in the US, I would only buy from a MAC dealer and have them add a warranty which means they will certify the car clean. Prices are climbing like everything else, and looks like the BOS car sold 80% of MSRP. I’ve seen more cars for sale, and looks like many may have paid above sticker trying to recoup.

The 675LT, for me is still one of the best driving cars I’ve owned and I’m closing on 3 years of ownership and if you like raw and hydraulic steering it’s a treat. Speed is insane, and honestly I don’t want to go any faster in a car. Good luck pull up car gurus lots of good cars/specs …..I’m a coup guy as I like the lines better but you can go wrong either way.

675LT is the best car McLaren has produced IMHO. On this one, you are basically getting a new car for under list.

I think I have to experience the 675LT for myself otherwise I’ll always wonder!

Wow! That is super helpful as there might not be anyone with as much Mclaren seat time across the model range in the world as you have. I think I have read all your write ups and some multiple times. Thanks!

As many of you probably know the slippery slope well, I’ve decided to add a 675LT coupe.

I should have it in about a month and will share my observations. I am speculating that it’d different enough than my 765LT that I’d want to keep both.
