Yes so does the G engine 991.1 GT3 vs the E engine it launched with (different heads with additional oil squirters, different oil pump, different filter etc).

Until we see the technical sales document for the 991.2 GT3 we will have no idea what the difference is if any. Forget trying to find out any specifics on the Cup engine for a long while yet....

they won't publish all this. only way is a tear down and it will be some time before that happens outside pmna...

my gardner has shared quite a bit of the differences with the R motor with me... but since he mows with hondas i've tended to to trust him too much. there are some subtleties you won't see w/o out a tear down. and maybe 1 you can see if that pic above was just a little higher...

I look forward to that. Its the only think that would make me take up my 991.2 GT3 allocation (a fundamental change in design that addresses the accelerated MA engine valve train wear on the track). I cant tell anything myself from the picture above, as you say a shot from below with sump and oil cooler in play would help, although its the motorsports unit...

Yes, yours at the Rennlist Men's room after you found out what was actually introduced in Paris earlier. It was bad dude, really, really bad. I think you excreted your brain too. Those grey brain matter are a bitch to clean.

Of course it does, it basically uses the same engine in the GT3R! That's the Gen 2 engine me and others had been talking about for ages!

My dealer told me that they heard the 991.2 GT3 won't reach NA till possibly 2018 even, and possibly released with the RS.
