In cup carbon parts is more expensive its just a cost question ( price, accident etc)

Heres a rear detail im sure will carry over for the street car. I quite like it. Some mesh lower in the bumper by the exhaust...

I really like the new front bumper. It is noticeably more aggressive which is fitting for a GT car. I like the 991.1 front bumper too - it has smoother lines and kind of blends with the rest of the lineup. I will be keeping my deposit

Interesting front bumper. It looks like they pulled it back in on the drop to get more splitter effect without extending too far past the bumper nose. Likely required for pedestrian safety and low impact replacement cost.

It's quite nice, I like it! Looks more aggressive than the 991.1. I wonder what's the design of the wheels though..

I prefer not having the driving lights overhang the intakes - looks cleaner on .2 to me (but does evoke the GT4)

Front fenders of new Cup look great. Would be cool to have these on .2 GT3.

I love the new high point uninterrupted wrap -around feature line graphic of the shark nose and mouth front fascia and its "pulled back " lower front lateral air intake styling ( makes car look aero-swept fast even sitting still vs 996/997/991.1 GTx models ) probably was adapted functionally to allow them to extend the jutting lower splitter on coming road GTx models farther without violating pedestrian impact laws vs their blunt nose leading edge cow-catcher splitter design of the past couple decades

images in post # 289 above illustrate their " faces " well : cute " Finding Nemo " guppy smile vs top of the food chain predator !

If it will make new engine reliable, I'll be happy to have even 7000 redline.

The front looks so much nicer to me. The old one almost looks like it's smiling.

Cosmetics aside and assuming that either the 991.2 GT3 or RS is intended to be a "weekend" warrior on the track, I would be more keen if the new street cars could be easily adapted (including changing rims at the track!) to be fitted with 18" rims (like those on the new Cup car) so that we would have the option of running on slicks at the track. I recall that this option seemed available with the earlier GT3 or RS's and I wonder if it has now become an engineering problem to provide for such flexibility (e.g. stouter suspension parts and adjustments?) with the later cars.

The gearing would have to suck with a 7k redline and NA torque. 8,500 rpm or more would be fine though
