My 4-post is bolted. My buddy's is not and his 'walks' due to the grade in the garage floor.

I posted this in the GT4 thread.
Go with Bendpak HD-9. I had Revolution 4 post system before and the Bendpak system is a better made system overall. The quality is superior compared to the Revolution.
I ran both power and airline straight up to my roof for a cleaner look.

I looked back in the reference materials for a recommendation one way or the other and page 26 only says that:
"BendPak lifts are supplied with installation
instructions and concrete fasteners meeting the
criteria as prescribed by the American National
Standard "Automotive Lifts - Safety Requirements for
Construction, Testing, and Validation" ANSI/ALI
ALCTV-2011. Lift buyers are responsible for any
special regional structural and/or seismic anchoring
requirements specified by any other agencies and/or
codes such as the Uniform Building Code (UBC)
and/or International Building Code (IBC)."
On page 33:
"Every 3 Months: Check anchor bolt torque. Anchors
should be torqued to 90 ft/lbs."

I have two Revolution RFP9N000 by Rotary 4-post lifts.
They have 120 VAC hydraulic pumps to lift and need no shop air to release the locks. Just hold the interlock release lever while using the hydraulic release valve to lower in a nice, controlled fashion.
I looked at BendPak (nice lifts) but didn't have plumbed-in shop air.

The HD-9 has an optional air tank that looks like a shock. Mounts under the rails so invisible. It uses the pressure from raising the lift and fills itself. As long as you use the lift somewhat regularly you don't need a compressor. I've had mine for over a year and haven't had any issues. Left the car alone for winter and didn't lose any pressure in the tank either.

I also has the optional air tank installed on my BendPak HD9. So far it has worked nicely. I have noticed though that the lift has to get pretty high up so that it can build enough internal pressure. I have 10+ ft ceiling and my cars get pretty close to it, otherwise pressure stays on the low side. Never have had a problem though and have left my car there for over two weeks at a time.

Any chance you have further details you could share.
Thx

Hey guys
I'm also planning on installing a lift I like the Bendpak HD 9.
I will be storing a 964 and a GT3.
I have 10'4" ceilings, do you guys think I have enough space?
Thank you
JV
