Like other members I went with the Bendpak HD9 with casters, 48" aluminum ramps and 110V motor.
You need a compressor to unlock the air locks (what's this bottle others are mentioning?) and the 110V goes up pretty fast.
glad to see so many others do not bolt their lifts down.....I get super nervous , its aa little shaky! In my new garage I am installing a 2 post and 4 post....cant wait!

You better believe mine are bolted down. I still scratch my head re: the physics behind single post lifts.
Mine are absolutely bolted, I would never take that risk, I used reinforced concrete and deeper up to 10 inches under each post. What do you guys have against bolting them down, I could see if you had heated floors, otherwise if you ever deinstall the lift you can just fill some small bolt holes not a big deal…

Earthquakes. Theory is that bolting then forces the energy into the lift structure and elevated car. Leaving unbolted allows for a bit of movement.
My two post is bolted, I don't see any option not to other than suicide choice. The 4 posters are designed to ride on casters, they don't need to be bolted.
Note that the bolted 2 post is in a garage with radiant floor heat. Don't screw up those measurements when drilling the holes... (I did not, but I was nervous)
