+1

Don't want to bother with brakes or overheating on track. (Not saying that McLaren overheats.)

Yummy,

Magnesium wheels will look awesome on the garage wall. (Expensive decoration)

I won't track with magnesium wheels.

I don't have that level of a cleaning lady, but I expect it will have it.

If RWS came on the GT3, RS, and even the lightweight focused 911R, I would expect it on the GT2RS. It's now considered an essential performance improvement for the 991 body/wheelbase, even with the weight penalty.

All these GT cars are getting far too expensive to track. I'd really like to see the figures of tracked gt3 vs gt3rs vs gt2rs vs Fcar's vs Mac's.
Agree. I was just at an event at COTA. There was one other RS of ANY vintage other than mine. One UV and one LO in entire lot. The most common work horses were 997.2 gt3's and gt4s. Were also a few 991 Gt3 but RS's were all at home in garage.

Great dealership I keep hearing about.
Had to be a different one than I was at??

Does your purple RS really get that much less attention than a Ferrari?
No, a purple RS with wing, decals and x-pipe gets as much attention as anything on the road; like it or not.

Easy. By keeping weight around 3000 lb.

AMG GT R even with all those fancy carbon bits still weighs approx 3500 lb.

Same principle but different results. 991 GT3 have very low wear of rear brakes even when powering out of turns with wheelspin.

Not having any inside info, I'm pretty sure it will. It seems that everyone will be doing RWS on high-end cars and even SUVs soon. It's a noticeable improvement in lap times from a rather simple and cheap mechanism (achieving a comparable benefit in lap times and stability purely mechanically would have been way more expensive).
