This is still a huge accomplishment on the part of Lamborghini. We will have to wait until Porsche launches the "Limited Edition" GT2RS (who may finally use the "R" compound tires ) and see who will be the next "King of Nurburgring"

Porsche is no different, their Cup 2 R's are similar to the Trofeo's, so their Nurburgring times are just as realistic...

The pictures by far shown used by Porsche is the Cup 2 N, at Willow Springs. As I have pointed out, the post by Nizer #6701 is the "CUP 2 R" compound tires. That is different from the Cup 2 N tires.

I don't even know where to get/buy those CUP 2 R tires. I would imagine if you own a racing team you can get those CUP 2 R tires. Well, I don't own a racing team.

i think the second pic is photoshop.
no GT2RS has N0 tires.
N0 was Eco (and weight) friendly 918 tire as far i remember.
this N0 stamp is just the stamp. not the real compound which was used. (i guess)

720s will be faster on same tires.

i love GT2RS.
but thats what i think.

regarding NOS:
Cup2 R was on the GT2RS lap.
As also the latest Pirelli "R" on the SVJ.

same mother.
all planned. all good.

GT2RS is sold (and flipped) out.

lets start with last Aventador again.

before last edition RS is comming.

Joker, I think the photo with the cup2 NO is photoshopped but not the cup r NO, isn't the cup r a new compound/tire and typically will start out with a NO where the cup 2 is at its 2 variation(actually third,no,n1,n2)? hence the N2.
BTW, hope all is well, it was good hanging at Smokies.

Great video! Any reason why those paddles are fixed on the steering column instead of them being on the steering wheel? The latter just makes so much more sense.

Ferrari is the same, some say it’s because you don’t shift when in a turn, I personally don’t like them on the column. Just like I hate windows buttons on the center console...why!!!!

Didn't they improve certain sections of the Ring after the 2RS set the record lap last year? If so, I wonder if it would close the gap if it ran again. Not that I think Porsche would do it. It's only fair to give Lambo some time in the spotlight.

So what are the the differences in a "Euro" spec GT2 RS vs. a "US" spec car?
