This car has way too much horsepower. If you ever driven a GT3 or a GT3RS, you know that the car pretty much does everything you ask of it without breaking a sweat. GT3RS PDK shifts fast, brakes well and it has tons of grip.

Well, the GT2RS performs just like a GT3RS, but it has close to 200hp more and here lies the problem/fun. Everything in this car arrives so much faster, which makes the car very challenging to drive and it encourages more mistakes to be made on the driver's end. You can't floor the throttle everywhere you go in the GT2RS, unlike the GT3RS with its pedestrian torque and power (relatively speaking). I have no doubt this car is the fastest production 911 to date, but I can tell you already, I'm probably faster on a track in a GT3RS than a GT2RS. And that's why I sold my 991 GT3RS a long time ago and will be keeping the GT2RS in the foreseeable future, because it's way more FUN. Yes, I will be slower in my GT2RS, but I'm having more fun driving it, catching its tail and sometimes braking a tad too late with way too much speed.

First of all congrats!

And thanks for sharing your experience. Fun factor is so important and I'm glad that you find the GT2RS fun.

Thank you!

Nowadays, buying a car with lots of horsepower and grip is easy, but finding a car that is fun to drive at the same time is very difficult!

Look closely and you will see the carbon fiber hinges on the GT2RS engine deck lid

I don't know that this one for sale has been posted. I ran into it while looking for photos of a different 911:

BTW: Saw a white GT2RS that looked like it was a US Euro delivery car here at Nordschleife yesterday. (Sorry no pictures).

That belongs to Hany Rambod, if you search “hanyrambod” on instagram there’s some pics. Also search “tomstamp” on Insta, he has some pics up.

Did it look like this by any chance? A friend of mine is doing ED and met up with Misha and Manthey team for some setup and photos/videos

Wow, Hany Rambod is a big guy

Yes, the car looked like the one above but I don't remember the registration number so I'm not absolutely sure - not that it matters anyway - just making conversation
