Just a guess since nobody answered you : if it's anything like the other newer GT cars, when you start driving aggressively the car's computer(DME) knows this based on several inputs, like TPS(throttle position sensor),MAP(manifold absolute pressure) etc ...and opens the bypass for coolant to flow through the 3rd radiator. That provides extra cooling and the temps initially go down. I believe the same thing happens at any acceleration if you press the Sport button on...

Any chance of a limited GT2 street car as a sendoff?

Having a 918, races for them, buying a lot of cars from them helps.

But that didn't help me getting my GT2RS early, they delay my production from May to Oct/Nov.

That’s what figured it was, just never seen that on any of my other Porsche GT cars. They did forget the Gt2rs logo on side of my car, was hoping it wasn’t going to be problem car. Porsche sure is cranking out cars as fast as possible and careless making errors.

So you are getting a GT2RS sendoff, in a way.

I believe the car will be sold through Weissach direct, so they have a better grip on who is buying one.

I already have one on order.
Does "weissach direct" mean contact the Motorsport group, like if you were to order a cup car?
