Why is your dealer says to not go on white? just curious

I told him I was considering wp in white, black or silver and that I was willing to even go to Germany and see the car in different colours. He said the silver launch car looked gorgeous and that would be his choice (Head of Porsche GT department said the same thing to me at the launch re Silver being the best colour and that I had to go for the red interior). Andreas also said I must get the red interior. Red interior is something I have never chosen on any car and neither is silver. It makes this decision tough. The car did look great in silver but not being able to compare it makes it even more difficult.
My Dealer said black would look great but that white likely wouldn’t stand the test of time as well. I am not sure if he meant in terms of value or in terms of looking dated or in terms of looking like a panda.
Black would be my automatic go to on almost any car, especially with red interior, however the cf on this car would be totally hidden by the black paint and that’s a real shame.
I am really struggling to decide. Good problems

Always choose what you like, not someone else's opinion.
Even if you ever want to resell, there's always someone else who shares your taste. I've found that more unusual specs sell quicker than the more common ones, as if it ticks someone's boxes, they don't want to miss it. (Have bought cars for the same reason)
Anyway, any color is good as you say!

The Dealer advising not to get White hit my “panda” nerve. Need to find myself a black one to visit. Otherwise I will go silver and wrap it when I fancy something else. Maybe wrap it satin black or satin pearl white, etc.
I really need to find a black one and, if possible, a white one somewhere. If someone knows someone please pm me.
Really tough when you have so much built up anticipation. My first GT car and I have been waiting since my letter of intent in 2013.

I have the weekend to think a bit more about it, dealer wants to lock on Monday.

Surprised you choose white dials instead of red? Too much red I suppose.
Monday is a big day for both of us.
