Come on Martin, I am sure you will start a thread after few weeks release crying about not being able to get it and outrageous mark-up...
then, getting one and not mentioning anything till it is in your garage!

Some nutter in the 997 GT2/3/RS forum thinks front axle will be electric only:
https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...oming-gt2.html

Not entirely implausible but mostly implausible.

The rear wheels are really deep into the rear fenders... They must have rolled them fenders seriously.

I was told by family in engineering there was a mule at one time 6 months ago that had a 918 type front end motor setup...I have been told since then it would not make it to production but the traction has been a difficult back and forth fight internally and legal might have put a kibosh on not having something to help the front end out with current day 650hp+ GT2 RS? I was told the acceleration from mule was faster than 918 but obviously that was in prototype form.

I'm also realizing it will solve the PDK HP limitations with an electric powertrain up front. So maybe more plausible than implausible. Still weird IMO.

what you guys mean with "PDK HP-limitation" ?

Chiron - 1.600Nm - DoubleClutch

...

there should be an easy way to increase the capacity of the current PDK box if even necessary - are there any issues at tuned 991 Turbo and TurboS?
