I'm referring to the new system that's exclusive to the 991.2 Turbo S so far. It's an anti lag feature that keeps the throttle butterfly open when entering a corner and cuts the ignition. It's faster to reignite the fuel then open up the butterfly valve. This sort of technology has been used in F1 for several years now. It's that fart sound you hear them make when entering a corner.

I will have a GT2 RS, but not unrealistic, it will have some lag. I'm ok with it and accept some but I can't stand all these comments that keep trying to say that lag has been engineered out of new 911 and .2 turbo S. I've now driven both extensively, lag is very much there. Is it better? Yes much better but drive it back to back with any NA 991 and throttle response is still worlds apart. For 650+ HP I'll make a sacrifice and live with some lag.....GT2 will be a beast and I'm going to drive crap out of mine, I'll see you GT3 RS guys at finish line and I'll have the beers waiting for you all when you finally get there!

The "best" setup for enjoyment and excitement it is subjective but in my experience it involves much more than the presence or absence of turbos. Also, it is worth noting that lag and boost threshold are different and the RS will undoubtedly have a very fast transmission. If driven like the GT3 in terms of power band usage, i.e. leaning toward the top, the net effect should be very good for both performance and driving enjoyment. Whether it will be appealing to a driver will still depend on how the power band is designed and the driver's personal tastes with respect to that particular design.
