991 GT2RS

We'll see. The magic of the 675LT is that fully loaded with fuel and road ready, she's about 3000lbs. Which means she's 100's of lbs lighter than anything else on the road at that power level.
GT3RS is ~ 3200 (and down 170hp)
CGT is 3350
Viper ACR is ~3350-3400
488 is about 3250-3300
Huracan is 3400
AUDI R8 V10 is 3750
Aventador SV is 3900
Having around 600HP-700HP is nice but the GT2RS to truly compete will need either insane aero (viper) or be just as light as the 3RS.
You'd think all the turbo plumbing and extra cooling for the mega HP would put the car 100-150lbs heavier than the 3RS.
The big thing up Porsches sleeve is they can always just keep throwing bigger and bigger tires and suspension on it to try to increase grip to a factor that it can mechanically get to the ACR level if not the weight level.

What I can infer from the comparison tests is that adding 200 hp (and 200 lb/ft torque?) to the GT3 RS would create a serious challenger the LT. Not to mention further advancements in mechanical and aero grip, electronic trickery etc which the GT2 will also incorporate. Time will tell!

Weight is important, but it seems that Porsche often finds ways to overcome such shortfalls through clever engineering, new technology and good calibration. I expect nothing less from the GT2 RS. As far as the mules go, why are they not restricted to either the track or off to very remote areas so as not to be seen as easily? Yes, pics get leaked, so I'm assuming they do this to get the public excited for the next big model.

That thing looks epic. Only color I would pick is black. That car would be REALLY angry!

Aside. Us from "Downunder" find the US nomenclature of seasons "fall, spring etc" quite confusing. Where as we are directly the opposite season from the far northern continent of Europe with USA this becomes more confusing as the seasons do not become precisely the opposite of ours (well they do one one coast but not so much the other etc).

No need for sorry Macca! Was just trying to affirm the assumption for an early reveal would be an October show. And good point about Fall, biased towards the northern hemisphere!
