The ACR is the new toy, but I have to say the GT3 seems a little tame. Now it remains to be seen how durable the ACR s in track and how in manages cooling of precious bodily fluids and brakes. If does look very throughly thought out, with heat extraction panels on top of hood and behind the front wheels, a large opening in facia to feed a large, lay-forward radiator, integrated brake cooling ducts in the fascia and extra ducts for the A-arms and a plethora of aero. The CF hood is featherweight. The front of engine is behind centerline of front wheels. The attention to detail is all there. Now it lacks the brand appeal of Porsche and is cartoonishly garish with the wing, canards and sidepipes, so it's probably not the car to pick up chicks or impress the Grey Poupon swilling neighbors, but school children dig it. I am dying to get it set up and on track. I am considering using the existing front splitter as a template to make a larger one for the track, as what I read is it pushes and eats front tires. Not unexpected as most of the aero is out back.
Each track needs a little different setup but the basic that works for me is -3.2* of front camber and trying to keep the tires from 36-38 HOT.

Allan,
I did a full track alignment/balance/lowering at GTE--it took 3.5 hrs.
I'm going to start with the factory track bounce/rebound recommendations and go from there! I've installed a set of team-tech harnesses also.

Those lap times hold ZERO water for me.
Lets just talk about the video in car of viper- missing shifts, zero rev matching, etc. awful.
Not to mention they didn't even take the 30 seconds to remove the hood louvres as prescribed in owners manual. Car didn't have the track ride height or anything.
That group of clowns, well they are clowns and they are not ever gonna get clicked on from me again. I was holding out hope that eventually they would figure out how to stop saying F FFFFF every 10'seconds in a video but that's how they roll. I sound like Gran Torino but get off my lawn with these bro hugs and weed dealers.
Also- nobody should put stock in lap times at thermal without running the whole track- that south loop is 8 turns and 7 are hairpins. When you incorporate the other side you have a much better design overall.

I don't judge a book by its cover. Plenty of guys dress casually in LA and run successful companies etc. So it's not about that for me. He's a very nice guy, seemingly generous, and he may know more about cars than he shows in the videos.
But for some reason he has chosen to cater to a demographic that doesn't know the subject matter. The hyper five video supposedly cost several hundred thousand dollars. The data overlay wasn't even synched properly with the video. Ouch.
At the Cupgang meet, lots of cars revving engines and such. Didn't like that. They tried to discourage it but that is who came to the meet. Oh and I confirmed that gold wrapped Lamborghinis aren't my cup of tea either. 😂
Anyway, people are attracted to exotics for different reasons.
