For all you greenies, this GT3 was parked in the paddock at Watkins Glen yesterday. Don't know if this is Signal Green or otherwise. No plates, so they must have rolled it straight off of a truck.

Signal or Viper green was second on my list with the possibility of a come back if I think about it too much.
Staying with SY though my current preference is for the underside of the door mirrors to be black. Thoughts?

I would keep them black with every color tbh, but especially Signal Yellow.

One of the ten (approx) late MY2015 gt3 US allocations done in PTS 'Signal Green' & all initially with the same specs:

https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3/...grey-gt3s.html

'Signal Green' '15 gt3s
1) McKenna - CA (Sold at least $20K over MSRP) 9238
2) Beverly Hills - CA (Sold at markup over MSRP) 9244.
3) Stevinson - CO (Sold) 9251
4) P of Beachwood- OH (Sold at MSRP to Rennlister) 9243
5) P of Bellevue - WA (Sold)
6) P of San Diego - CA (Sold at MSRP to Rennlister & Euro Delivery)
7) P of Rancho Mirage - CA (Sold at markup over MSRP to Rennlister) 9249
8) Momentum Porsche / Houston (Sold)
9) ?
10) Assigned/Sold to a North Carolina customer that is part owner of a Porsche sales & restoration shop.

If anyone talked to the owner of this gt3 at the Glen, please let us know what he/she told you as to where bought, specs, etc!

That would be the pace car for the GT3 Challenge Cup races going on this weekend at WGI. Claimed to be Viper Green by the announcers.

It looked good leading the Cup field.

Gracias Eduardo. Rain day tomorrow, so I expect it to be hairy.

Nizer, come by the Kelly Moss tent if you are here.

I had some paint mixed up to get a better feel for them in person. I didn't have time to get them sprayed out yet so not a pretty job but I thought some may be interested nonetheless. They are ppg water based paints. No clear of course.

Them? Are you talking about 'Signal Yellow' and 'Signal Green'?

If so, that is a worthwhile exercise for you personally. But I doubt it will help others. As you know, we have actual photos of 991s and gt3s in these colors as PAG does them currently via PTS. But photos can be deceiving...mine, theirs or yours. My suggestion is to try to set up a visit with someone that actually has a Porsche in that particular hue and see it in person with your owns eyes BEFORE you order that color on your vehicle!

Eduardo

The yellow is signal but the green is actually lime green or yellow green 137. The photos are pretty close to the colour I see by eye.

Yes it was mostly for me and I recommend it to everyone to see the colours first hand. Unfortunate I don't have access to actual cars painted in these colours. I may get a couple more made up to compare the different greens.

Hello everyone. First post.

I have a december build for a GT3 RS and have been planning to get it in Lava Orange. After reading through this amazing post multiple times and other posts from Eduardo I think I need to make the jump to PTS.

Top candidates are Signal Yellow code 114 or Green Yellow Uni code 137. Also curious if anyone has pictures of Pure Green Y56 OR Green 2D8 (preferably on a 997 or 991), have searched the web but always nervous that results are labeled correctly.

Any thoughts, pictures, comments appreciated.

I'm not 100% ready to move away from the Lava Orange which I think is a great color and clearly works well with the Gt3 RS (also like getting matching interior trim). Lava Orange has appeared a bit salmon to me in a few pictures but not most.

Thanks everyone in advance! Such a great community here. Plan to be at the Rennsport reunion this fall, hope to meet some of you there.
