I compared this last mule with an older one:just for fun..
They are working in the rear in my opinion..

Wow.how much wider can they make it ? Already there are quite a few comments in the reviews about how wide it is on the road. I would be surprised if they added width.

So now we're seeing gen 2 991 RS before even seeing the regular GT3?

Maybe. If this is a 991 generation ending limited edition GT3 RS (for example, a GT3 RS 4.2), then I could see them needing more time for R&D and Testing.

I highly doubt it'd come out prior to a 991.2 GT3, 991.2 GT3 RS, and prior to the very end of the 991.x generation.

I'm likely to get flak for this, but I really don't want my 991.2 GT3 RS 4.2 Limited Edition to have a manual transmission. I'm getting a GT4 and a Boxster Spyder to satisfy my desires to self-shift.

I want my 991.2 GT3 RS 4.2 to rival the performance of Porsche's competitors, on the track, and none of them require me to slow shift vs. a computer.

These rumours go back a while (maybe February?) - manual is supposed to be an option on it, PDK standard. Couldn't confirm if it would be 4.1 or 4.2, but expected to be the last N/A RS.

GT2 RS 4.0 will be Porsche's competitor...

Honestly, do we know for a fact this is new material? Maybe it's just some lame journo putting out older vid and trying to stir the pot. Near the end, they were driving around with pretty much the whole thing unmasked other than the black wrap on the body.

@skottkelly i thought the exact same thing..

.2RS and .2RS final edition.. How much more power can they add with an extra 0.2L of displacement? Is it going to be worth it? The current RS is already on its limits, as the improvement over the current GT3 is considered minor..

25hp and 25ftlb torque, same weight if not more because of the wider body, no manual... And let me guess 8600rpm?

As we heard a while back they're making a "purist" variant that will be manual..
