Consolidated 991RS thread

Im quite surprised that the popularity of lwb seems to have been underestimated again by the factory or its suppliers for these gt cars after high demand on the gt3 previously resulted in delays... They're really great seats--I can't say enough good about them!

+991 hence why I was only looking for a 2015 GT3 with the LWB seats.

Thanks for posting, I'm normally not a fan of black wheels but I have to say I prefer the white RS with black wheels over those silver ones. Ties in the black features of the car better.

In that picture white still looks as awesome as ever, silver is shiny rich but dark and I still don't like the orange.
The silver wheels look great on white and silver but strangely also on purple.
Purple remains hard to find decent pics of.

Agreed. I have done two 200+ mile trips and most recently 400+ with a mix of great mountain roads. I not only loved them in the corners but also strolling home. Basically, 9 hrs in the saddle and they felt great. I would have nothing else.

Its all on its various parts vendors, a production capability number was provided to PAG when LWBs came on line for GT3 that included a potential "thrust" production level...but since GT3 they have not been able to reach the "thrust" level of production and I am told that there have been almost daily delay memos traveling throughout manufacturing and logistics but little can be done at this point in the time needed to make a difference.

Yes.....but with production issues they have been delayed. Originally they were supposed to be offered 1st quarter of 2015. Who knows when they will be since capacity is all focused at production cars at moment. Maybe Suncoast has update?
